"What do you mean you and that bastard are now on good terms?"
The anger in his voice was visible and she could not really blame him. After all, he was the only one who knew what Reagan did to her.
"We are not on good terms. We are on speaking terms. I haven't forgotten what he did to me and there was no way that I would."
"You better be!"
Lilly rolled her eyes at Pete. She had no plan to tell him the latest happening between her and Reagan because she knew that he would react this way. However, when she got out of the club, Pete saw that Reagan was with her and Tiffany and it was too late to hide it from him.
She had no choice but to act as though everything was fine while watching Pete from the corner of her eyes as she bid goodbye to her friends, making sure that Pete would not do something to Reagan that would make her explain things to Tiffany.
