I walked back outside to get some form of training done for the day. As I walked out onto the field, Annie bumped into me as if she was in a hurry.
"Hisumi! Just the woman I wanted to see!" Annie smiled and I noticed her attire. I looked at her up and down then crossed my arms.
She wore a brown top and dark colored pants. She wore silver armor over her clothing and carried a dull, worn down sword that seemed to only be used for training purposes.
"What's up, Annie? I was going to get some training done. The grind doesn't stop until we drop which I will drop later tonight." I smiled and looked at her face.
"Orishi said that you can be my training partner for the day! After seeing you fight and your skills in battle, I want to learn from you too! I want to learn from everyone even Saito though she's an android and I can't do much with her lessons." Annie smiled.
I scratched my hair and ran my fingers through my hair. I closed my eyes and sighed softly. "Alright, let's go." I walked ahead.
Annie made a happy noise and followed me. We went out to an open area in the field then I summoned my katana. I stopped walking and twirled my katana in a circle then unsheathed the blade slightly.
"I'm gonna take it easy on you since you're new to the Valkyria scene. We are going to find your element. There are three usable elements Fire, Lightning, and Ice. Hm...Well first off can you conjure your Spirit Energy?" I placed a hand on my hip and looked at her.
"I think so. It's fairly weak though since I haven't trained with it." Annie said then closed her eyes to concentrate. She grunted lightly as she surrounded herself in her fairly weak Spirit Energy.
I looked at her and smiled. I crossed my arms and she opened her eyes to look at me. She smiled back. "Know what let's skip the boring stuff. Show me what you've got."
Annie looked excited and nodded. Orishi and Lianne watched from a distance and smiled at us.
"I can sense a spark in their relationship. She's been curious about her since the day she arrived and now that she's spending time with her she's gonna be talking about her nonstop." Lianne smiled.
"I can tell. This is one relationship that's gonna spark faster than her and Yae." Orishi nodded.
"Come now! Strike harder!" I said then jumped backwards.
Annie dashed to me then tripped. She fell on the ground and grunted. She spit out the grass that flew into her mouth when she fell. She laughed and rolled around on her back then looked at the sky. "This is just paradise to me. Being able to train with legends and on the road to become a legend. From Farm Girl to Valkyria! Who would have guessed."
I looked at Annie and knew she was just a bundle of pure energy. Like Orika, she's pure at heart...but I knew the war was going to change that. Her heart will be tainted with cold reality and I didn't want that for her. I sat on the ground next to her and looked at the sky as well.
Annie looked at me and sat up then looked back up at the sky. "You know...I really look up to Valkyrias like Orishi and my mom. I consider my mom as a Valkyria...my dad used to be a Commander in the New United Army who worked with World Mark at a point in time. He was an amazing fighter. Skilled with guns...swords. My parents were heroes and I wanted to be like them. Now I really have a chance...I have a chance to defend my world."
"You know...I look up to my friends and Orishi..and my mom...My friends are very motivating and they really care about each other. Orishi and my mom were also heroes in their time. My mom and I were separated since I was born. I used to be a part of Judgement and...things happened now I'm here." I said then looked at Annie. "My mom is our there sacrificing herself for the safety of everyone here...I don't want to lose my mom so that is why I want to gain as much power as I can for these last 25 Days."
"I don't want to lose my mom either. Knowing her, she's gonna be fighting on the front lines with Orishi and Liao Ru...Silent Fox isn't going to be holding anything back and I know she will be out for blood. I want to prevent her from dying by doing all I can to protect her. We can't afford to lose this war." Annie said then looked at me.
I nodded and smiled. "I agree. We have everything to lose, but everything to gain. Let's do our best the next 25 Days and go out there with everything we've got!"
Annie nodded and we stood up to continue our training.
The battle waged long and hard in Yahoma. Judgement members were fighting off the members of the World Corps. Seihachi slashed through the World Corps members with ease and rushed over to Morata then pulled him out of the way of a massive beam from a mecha. He sensed powerful energy and turned around. Yusa walked up and her battlesuit appeared on her body and she summoned her weapon. Seihachi smirked then dashed to her and slashed, but she dodged perfectly and Seihachi began to move in slow motion. Yusa slid backwards using her energy then twirled her lance around and Seihachi began moving in normal speeds.
"It has been a while, Yusa." Seihachi said.
"It has, Seihachi. Last time we met was when I had Hisumi.." Yusa said then glared and slammed the bottom of her handle on the ground.
"Now we meet again on the opposite side of the battlefield. Where is the real Hisumi?" Seihachi asked.
"You aren't getting her. She's my daughter...I know the entire reason this war is starting is because of her. That bitch of a mother needs her. I am not letting her have Hisumi. Even in death, I will protect my daughter!" Yusa bellowed.
"So it is true what Morata said. Hisumi is now a woman. Heh...Haha...HAHAHAHA!" Seihachi laughed as he held the left side of his face. He looked at Yusa and his eyes shined brightly. "Yusa...I am getting MY child back! She will come back to where she belongs! With ME!"
Seihachi dashed towards Yusa and Yusa dashed towards Seihachi. They swung their weapons at each other and their weapons clashed with each attempt to hit one another. They clashed another three times before entering a blade lock with one another. Seihachi overpowered Yusa and knocked her off balance then went for a killing blow. He looked surprised when a clock blocked his attack.
"Infinitum...Destroy." Bachiko said then beams of temporal energy struck the Judgement members. They all groaned and turned into spirit energy. "Seihachi Ishida...You didn't think this battle was going to be this easy did you..? Foolish man."
Bachiko laughed then the clock disappeared and Yusa appeared in front of him. She switched the form of her lance to its Cataclysm Mode and slashed at him. Her lance was surrounded by dark energy as the blade hit him. Seihachi grunted and his eyes widened then he was sent flying. Bachiko used her Spatial Powers to warp Yusa above Seihachi then Yusa slashed down at Seihachi, sending him crashing to the ground. Bachiko laughed and manipulated Seihachi's gravity sending him flying back up to Yusa.
Yusa bellowed and kicked Seihachi back down then flew down after him. Her eyes shined and she lodged her lance into Seihachi's body. "You'll never get Hisumi! She's mine!" She yelled and they crashed on the ground.
Seihachi bellowed and blew Yusa away then she landed on the ground and slid backwards then looked up. Seihachi stood up and his Judgement Marking shined then he bellowed and Lightning Aura surrounded his body. He looked at Yusa and glared. Seihachi dashed to Yusa and she looked surprised by his speed. He punched her stomach and she coughed blood then was sent crashing through a building.
Bachiko dashed to Seihachi and summoned her naginata. She went for an attack, but Seihachi dodged her attack and she looked surprised. He punched her face and she was sent flying. She crashed through the wall of a house and groaned in pain.
Seihachi laughed and noticed Yusa flying to him with the use of her aura. She yelled and went for an attack. He parried her attack then punched her stomach and she groaned. He slammed her to the ground and kicked her away. "Hisumi will never be yours. She doesn't even know who you are. You may have birthed her and she may have figured out the truth but at the end of the day...you were never a mother to her. You are a nobody. She loves me and Hikaru. WE are her true parents! WE took care of her-"
"No you didn't!" Yusa yelled and stood up slowly. "You stole her from me! You used and abused her! You did everything a father shouldn't have done! It was a mistake being with you in the first place! Everyone told me you were a mistake and I should have listened! I should've listened and now..."
Yusa stopped and her heart thumped.
Yonaka and Sayoko felt Yusa's energy spiking to impossible lengths. Naora and Himeko looked surprised when they felt Yusa's aura.
"This energy.." Ochiyo said then closed her eyes.
"I hate you Seihachi! I hate you so fucking much!" Yusa screamed and her aura surged powerfully.
Seihachi looked surprised and took a step back.
"Hisumi...IS MINE!" Yusa bellowed and a bright light shined, blinding Seihachi. Her voice echoed through the air and everyone stopped battling to look in Yusa's direction.
Hazuki looked down at Yusa from a building and crossed his arms. "A new Ruler has been born.."
The light dimmed and Yusa's newest form was revealed. She had one black wing and one white wing. Her aura was silver and black and her eyes shined the purest silver color. She had become the new Ruler of Death. The previous Ruler sensed her will to protect me and her friends. She sensed the desire to kill Seihachi. She sensed Yusa's power of Death.
"The Ruler of Death has risen." Hazuki said then noticed Seihachi's surprised face.
Yusa looked at Seihachi and her aura pressure was so great, it began to crack the ground effortlessly. "This is the true power of a Valkyria. Those chosen by the Rulers are destined to become one. There is no one here to save you now, Seihachi. I'm done being pathetic. I'm done running away. I am not letting you have Hisumi...and I am not allowing you nor Judgement Order to do any more harm...This is it...You have lost." Yusa said coldly and split her lance in two, one was in the Cataclysm Mode and the other was in its Oracle Mode.
