I walked towards Misao and she looked at me, confused. She looked no different from the Misao I see in the present time.
"Who is this Liao Ru?" Misao asked.
"This is Hisumi Ishida. She saved me earlier." Liao Ru said then heard an explosion.
We looked up noticing a woman in the air with Fallen behind her. The woman had peach colored hair, golden eyes, and had an emblem floating above the palm of her hand. She wore a tight purple dress, black heels and carried a staff in her other hand.
"The Overlord of Deceit." Misao said then grabbed the handle of her katana.
"That's Lokia." I said.
"How do you know her name..?" Liao Ru asked and looked at me.
Nagini and I eyed each other then Nagini shrugged.
"I did my research before coming here. I...ah studied in Dr. Ashikaga's lab." I said on the spot.
Misao looked at me then looked back at Lokia. "Maruno Ashikaga..? I didn't know she had an assistant other than Noxius. Whatever...we have to take her word with a grain of salt. We have to handle this Overlord before she destroys what's left of the city!"
Lokia pointed her staff at us then the Fallen rushed to us. We dashed straight into battle and I noticed how in sync Misao and Liao Ru were with each other.
"Nagini, what is your past..?! This shit is insane!" I said then defeated a few Fallen with my Greatsword.
"It would not be wise to change your weapon mid combat. Your weapon is the Overlord of Thunder's weapon. You mustn't let them know you have the Overlord of Thunder's power." Nagini said.
I switched back to my katana secretly. "I didn't think of that...I'll do my best to not expose myself in this Realm-"
I grunted hard as I was punched in the face by a large Fallen. I was sent flying then the Fallen appeared above me then kicked me to the ground. I groaned as I hit ground. I coughed then the Fallen flew down and punched my stomach, creating a medium sized crater in the ground from the impact of the blow.
"Hisumi! I need to get you out of here!" Nagini said worried.
I grunted and slowly stood up then my lightning surged around my body. "No...I have to stay and learn my limits. I've got to see how far I can go..!"
The Fallen dashed to me again then grabbed my face before I could react then threw me in the air and sent a beam at me. The beam hit my body and caused an explosion in the sky. A red light flashed in the smoke then I emerged from the smoke and yelled as I was cloaked in red lightning. I vanished and left an afterimage behind me.
"Red Lightning..? A new variation of Lightning has been discovered..?" Nagini asked herself.
I yelled and struck the Fallen through her chest. "I don't care if you're a Zombie...you all will die the same! Now disappear!" I yelled and slashed in a circle then slashed in a circle again with my arm and severed the head off the Zombie's shoulder.
"That Hisumi person seems pretty strong." Misao said.
"Yes. I agree." Liao Ru nodded.
I looked back and noticed more Fallen swarming our location. I smirked then my eyes shined brightly and I vanished then left multiple afterimages then reappeared behind the Fallen. I rose my hand then snapped my fingers then a barrage of slashes struck the Fallen.
"Who is this unknown combatant and how is she so strong and fast..? She rivals that of the Overlord of Thunder's speed. I must inform the First Ruler about this unknown combatant." Lokia said then warped away.
I looked at my hand then balled it into a fist. "This isn't enough and I have yet to figure out my answers..."
"Punishing Flames Troops ahead! They are accompanied by the Fallen which means not only is Lokia here, but the other Overlords are nearby. Where are the Infinity Council?" Misao asked. "Where is Noxius?"
"Last time I see them, I remember seeing Number I. He should be nearby." Liao Ru said.
I sensed powerful energy ahead then noticed purple lightning zipping past us. The Fallen and Punishing Flames were being taken down swiftly and efficiently. A person apeared in front of us with their backs turned.
"Qiao Zhi! Where have you been all this time?" Misao asked.
"I got held up...The Overlords. They are coming in high speeds. We have to act fast because the Key of Origin is in the Mishiyo Tower. We have to stop the leader before she activates the Key." The man said then turned around.
The man wore a black and red mask, and a black and red hanfu on with a golden dragon design on the back of his outfit. His hair was black with green highlights and the highlights of his hair shined when his powers are activated. He carried a polearm with him and the polearm was cloaked in lightning energy.
"This Key. What does it do? Is it one of the Keys of Sovereigns?" I asked.
"It is an ancient weapon created by the Sovereigns of Creation and Destruction as a unison. The Key of Origin has many powers. Mainly the Key can grant anyone who wields it the power of anything they wished. The Head of the Mishiyo Clan is planning to use that key to grant herself immortality so she can complete her goal of world domination. We can't allow her to do so." Qiao answered. "Also who are you?"
"I'll explain later, for right now we need to stop the Head of the Mishiyo Clan." I said then noticed a portal open. "Follow me!"
I ran towards the portal and Liao Ru followed me. They other two were reluctant to follow me, but decide to anyway. We all entered the portal then exited the portal, appearing inside of the top floor of the Mishiyo Tower.
I looked ahead, noticing a woman at her super computer trying to figure out how to activate the Key of Origin. The woman had long rose gold hair, wore an armored battledress, armored boots, and radiated red and black aura around her body.
I took a step forward and stomped my foot down. "Hey!" I called out.
The woman stopped typing and turned around. She looked at us then her red eyes shined. She smirked and summoned her lance. "You're too late Infinity Council! I already hold the Key...and there is nothing you can do about it!"
"If she completes her goals, the only thing that can defeat her is the Key of Ayin or more commonly known as the Key of Totality. We have to stop her and retrieve that Key." Qiao said then readied himself for battle.
I nodded then dashed towards the woman. I slashed at her and she blocked my attack then pushed me back. She thrusted her lance at me, but I managed to parry the attack. I smirked then grunted as four more stabs hit my body. I stumbled backwards then held my arm.
"Multistriking attacks. I didn't expect anything less from you Saori!" Misao dashed forward and went for swift attacks in all directions of Saori's body.
Saori grunted as she was hit with some attacks, but managed to block some of the attacks. Misao kicked Saori towards Liao Ru then she gave Saori an uppercut to her chin, sending Saori upwards.
Qiao used his lightning to warp above Saori then went for a stab at her chest, but she yelled and summoned an aura barrier around her body. Qiao warped back to the ground then Saori landed on the ground and heard her super computer beep. We looked at her computer and noticed the Key of Origin glowing.
"It's ready!" Saori laughed evilly.
"I won't allow you to do that!" Liao said then ran towards Saori then appeared in front of her then punched her face hard.
Saori was sent crashing into a wall and groaned.
Misao and Qiao ran to the container that held the Key of Origin inside. They managed to retrieve the Key of Origin.
"We got the Key! Let's go!" Misao said. "I can contact the other Maidens and we can get out of here."
Saori chuckled softly and slowly stood up, wiping her mouth. "You may have gotten the Key...but Legion will forever hunt you all down for that Key. You will never get to rest...as long as that Key exists-"
Liao Ru struck Saori's stomach and Saori coughed blood. Liao Ru watched Saori hit the floor. Liao got prepared to kill Saori. This was a critical event because not only does Liao kill Saori, but she gets killed herself.
"You lose...Saori!" Liao Ru yelled then karate chopped Saori's neck, killing Saori on the spot.
We heard another explosion and I sensed the Overlord of Thunder's energy.
"Liao Ru! Come on!" I yelled then grabbed her arm.
Another portal opened and we rushed towards the portal and I managed to save Liao Ru. We entered the portal then exited into a forest.
"I forgot to tell you an important detail about my Realm. You see...if you change anything in the past, an alternate universe is created. Like I said, this won't affect the present day versions of the people so they are okay, but an alternate reality is created. This is still your trial and you are free to quit at any time." Nagini said.
"I managed to save Liao Ru...This is enough for me. I need a little break, but I want to learn as much as I can before my day is up. I feel like there is something I can learn from here that will help combat Judgement Order." I responded.
"I see. You are free to continue then. I just wanted to tell you what's going on." Nagini said.
I nodded then looked at Liao Ru, Misao, and Qiao Zhi. They conversed with each other about the Key of Origin and if they should take it back to Dr. Ashikaga.
I walked to them and crossed my arms. "What's going on?" I asked.
"We were thinking about heading to Dr. Ashikaga's lab. Do you wish to join?" Misao asked.
"Sure, I'll join." I nodded and smiled.
The others nodded and we set off along a path to Dr. Ashikaga's lab.
