Yumeji panted and held her arm then looked at the knight in black armor. She smirked and picked up her pistols then stood up straight once again. "You sure pack a punch...and frankly this battle is pissing me off, but I know I have to do this for the fate of the world!"
"This Fallen is extremely strong, even my elemental abilities can't put a scratch on it." Kikyo panted then stood up straight and glared at the Fallen.
"That's because this is Arthur of Old Legends..." Amelia said then stood up. "This version Arthur is a Fallen Hero.."
"Of course he is...What did this Arthur do to become a Fallen Hero?" Yonaka asked and panted softly.
"Well...From what I know from Nagini's memories, Arthur betrayed the Roundtable and was corrupted by Fallan, joining her cause for mass destruction." Amelia said.
"Hmph...sounds about right. Overlords causing trouble and changing history to fit their agenda. That's the main reason the Anarchy exists...This world has been ruined by Rulers and Overlords as well as the Sovereigns." Yonaka said.
"You don't have to help us if you don't want to...But just know us Rulers are also fighting to keep this world and the universe safe!" Kikyo said.
Yae looked at them then back at Fallen Arthur. "Save your arguments until after we've taken down the threat. Think about why we are doing this. If we don't stop the Overlords, our universe is doomed!"
"Hmph." Yonaka twirled her lance then got in her stance. "Alright...but don't expect too much cooperation from me. Even though me and Yusa are on good terms doesn't mean my goals have vanished as well."
Arthur dashed towards the five of them and bellowed. The five of them dashed towards Arthur and they entered battle. Arthur fended off the five of them then slashed in a circle, knocking all of them away from him. His sword was cloaked in dark aura then he dashed to Yonaka and slashed at her. She blocked the attack and grunted lightly.
Yumeji dashed into action then sprung into the air and somersaulted forward then went for an axe kick. Arthur dodged the attack and threw his sword at Yumeji. Amelia appeared in front of Yumeji then blocked the sword, sliding backwards. Yumeji rushed ahead with Kikyo and their eyes shined brightly. They bellowed then began to attack Arthur together. Arthur used his shield to block the attacks then summoned his sword back into his hand.
"I won't let you win!" Yumeji bellowed and fired a beam of light energy from her pistols, knocking Arthur backwards.
Kikyo dashed forward and lightning crackled around her body. She sliced through Arthur and broke his guard. Yonaka bellowed and rushed to Arthur then lodged her lance into his body then charged forward, slamming him against a tree then she looked surprised noticing him going for an attack at her neck.
Yae ran to Yonaka and pushed her out the way then used her wing to block Arthur's attack and grunted in pain. Yonaka fell to the ground and looked at Yae.
"Yae..!" Yonaka looked at her worried.
Yae smiled and looked at Yonaka. "This isn't anything..."
"You can't escape your nature...With my power, you'll survive and become who you're meant to be. Be honored that I chose you, because without me, you wouldn't even be able to do anything.." A voice spoke in Yae's head.
Kikyo looked at Yae and noticed her aura and felt powerful energy coming from her body. "Yae...has a Gem inside of her..!"
Yae softly chuckled and closed her eyes then her eye patch fell off her face. "It was going to be sooner or later when the Gem inside of me would awaken.."
"You...You had a gem inside of your body the entire time..?" Yonaka asked.
"The Gem of Indomitability...This is the reason why I've been able to do the most impossible tasks. She's helped me realize that without her, I wouldn't be anything..." Yae answered then felt Arthur take his sword out of her wing. "This is why I can't help you with your task. Hisumi made me realize...being a Ruler isn't as bad as it seems if it means protecting the things I love.."
Arthur raised his sword in the air and looked at Yae. He slashed down, going for the finishing blow.
"So that's why I must do this!" Yae yelled and her aura blocked the sword then her scythe transformed into a Divine Weapon called Unbreakable Nature.
Her scythe had a dark blue handle with golden blades with a black outline. Her scythe emitted dark blue aura. Her eyes shined a dark blue color and she used her aura to push Arthur away. She spread her wings out wide then exhaled. Markings appeared on her arms and legs.
Yonaka stood up slowly and looked at Yae. She gazed upon her Ruler Form and looked at Arthur who was behind her.
Yae turned around then looked at Arthur. "You knew the entire time that I was a Ruler....but you chose to not believe it. When I heard about your Anarchy organization, I was hurt that you wanted to kill us, but I still followed you because I genuinely loved you as a mother figure. I've made up my mind. I will stand beside my fellow Rulers and protect my universe."
Yonaka closed her eyes and sighed then walked beside Yae. "Alright...You've convinced me. Let's take down Arthur and get that Gem of Value."
Yae nodded then her eyes shined. "Let's do this.."
The five of them regrouped and rushed at Arthur. Arthur rushed at the Valkyrias and they entered battle once again. They began to overpower Arthur with the power of Yae's new Ruler abilities and her being able to make use of her Dark Angelic abilities.
"Take this!" Yae bellowed and her right arm turned into a Demonic Arm. "Spirit Crusher!"
She palmed his chest and a burst of aura surged from his back then his armor cracked then shattered. He stumbled backwards and gave a ghoulish howl then fell to his knees and dispersed into magic particles. The Gem of Value fell to the ground and the dark energy around the Gem vanished.
Amelia picked up the Gem and looked at it. She analyzed it then nodded and contacted Nagini via telepathy. 'We got the Gem of Value. Our mission is complete.'
"Good, I'll open a portal now." Nagini responded via telepathy.
"Yeah unfortunately you aren't going anywhere.." A woman with red hair said and walked up. "It seems Apeiron was correct about the Human Realm...It needs to be eradicated immediately."
"Blyze..?" Yonaka looked at the woman with shock.
"Unfortunately, we are only merely buying time for the true hero...Yoshida. He may be half human, half monster..but we all know the humans need to go now." Blyze said then summoned her fire sword.
"Who is this?" Kikyo asked.
"This is Blyze...one of the Elemental Sisters and one of Yoshida's little girlfriends. Why are you helping the Overlords and weren't you helping Yoshida kill Apeiron?" Yonaka asked.
"Yeah, and his task is already completed. The Tree of Life and Death isn't a physical thing anymore. Bachiko and Yoshida destroyed that concept and now we can act upon free will. Yoshida has accepted Fallan's hand in assistance to eradicate you pathetic insects.." Blyze smirked and looked at them.
"Oh really? Well, I don't mind killing a monster or two right now." Yonaka got in her stance and glared at Blyze.
The others looked at Yonaka and Blyze. A portal opened behind Amelia and Amelia looked back.
"Hurry inside! We don't have much time to lose plus we can't risk losing the Gem!" Nagini said.
Amelia nodded then hurried into the portal with Yae, Kikyo, and Yumeji.
Yonaka looked back then looked at Blyze. "Hmph you're lucky. Next time we will settle this."
"Yeah. The feeling's mutual." Blyze smirked and turned away then flew off using her flames.
Yonaka hurried to the portal then Nagini closed the portal. Yusa and Amelia handed Nagini the Gems and they watched her.
"Like I discussed with Team 1, we will use these Gems to revive the Rulers of Humanity, Virtues, and Life. Our three candidates will be Yumeji, Kikyo, and Saito. The Gems will choose who will become which." Nagini said.
The three Gems began to glow and float in the air. One flew to Yumeji, one flew to Kikyo, and one flew to Saito. They entered their bodies and they each underwent a transformation.
Yumeji grunted as the Gem of Anima shined and she began to harness the Gem's power. Her eyes shined a lighter blue and wings of light manifested on her back. She had tiny wings of light on her hair and they fluttered quickly. Her clothing changed to a white white battledress with gold embellishments. She wore black thigh highs and black boots. Her pistols changed into Divine Weapons called Vitality. Her pistols were white, angelic looking pistols and they had a golden aura around them.
Kikyo looked at the Gem of Value as it began to activate and she began to harness it's power. She closed her eyes and her outfit changed into a white and black top with a black skirt and she wore gold knee high boots. She wore black and gold armored arm sleeves as well. Angel wings emerged from her back and the color of the wings was a gradient of purple and gold. She obtained the Ruler of Virtue's Divine Weapon called Jinsei. The sword was a long bladed katana with a saber like hilt and the blade was pure silver.
Saito looked at the Gem of Humanity and she looked at it in awe. Her clothes changed into a black and white frilly dress with blue accents, she had on black arm sleeves, and wore white thigh highs with white boots. Her human minds became the more active mind and she felt more human than she did a cyborg. She obtained the Ruler of Humanity's Divine Weapon, The Heart of Quality.
"I feel so strange.." Saito said then looked at her hands and feet. "I feel...human. I don't feel like an android anymore..."
"The Rulers of Humanity, Virtues, and Life have been reborn within you. You are our main key in winning this war. Now phase two starts." Nagini said.
I made it to the Sakura District and looked around. I noticed the village was full of spirits, ninja, and Mikos in training. "Seems like I made it before the Original Overlord did...I have to find Misao first and seal her away.."
I hurried into the village to seek out Misao.
