"So your full name is Miko Misao?" I asked as I walked with Misao down a path leading to the Second Sakura District village.
"Yeah. It is the name inherited by our mother, Miko Ikari. She was the first to ever tame and control the Four Shrine Beasts." Misao answered.
"From the sound of it, it sounds like your Sakura District used to be one district." I said.
"That's because it was one district at one point of time. Our District got split up into four districts mainly because of beliefs and ideals. One wanted to rule the skies, another wanted to rule the flames, the other wanted to rule the snow, and I...I just wanted us to all become one again. We still loved each other dearly, that wasn't going to change. I became the beacon of light the Sakura District needed and inherited the title of Head Miko. We were so close in becoming one then Fallan attacked..." Misao explained and held her arm. "I couldn't protect them because it was the first we've ever actually fought her. We didn't know what she was truly capable of."
I looked at Misao and noticed her sad expression and her ears drooped. I felt bad for her. "If there was a way to fix all of this...I would give everything to help change history to make things better."
Misao smiled a bit and looked at me. "I know you would...but sadly you can't. It's already been done. The most we can do is move forward."
I thought of the Infinity Realm and closed my eyes, remembering things that happened there doesn't effect the real dimension. I opened my eyes and looked ahead. "You're right."
Misao and I continued ahead then heard a voice calling out to us. We stopped and looked back, seeing Orimi running towards us.
"I'm coming with you!" Orimi said.
"What why?" I asked.
"Any other time someone hurts my brother with malicious intent, I'd usually hate them and try to kill them...but this time, I want to knock some sense into him! I want to actually beat him in battle! He killed Aunt Theora and Aunt Cosmia! He promised he wouldn't but he destroyed the Tree of Life and Death...the one thing that kept other Realms from accessing our Realm. He wants to destroy the Human Realm...I can't let him and that's why I want to get stronger because I don't want my brother to fall down this road. His girlfriends are all blindly helping him as well. I am the only one against it. I ran away from him because of it." Orimi said.
"At least someone has some sense, but you can't join us. Our foe is someone who's beyond even our understanding. Fallan is a villain unlike any other and it shows in her plans." I responded.
Orimi bowed at us. "Please..! I don't want to lose Mama Naora and Auntie Himeko to him or my friends. I love him and that's why I want to do this. If he wins...he will not stop at the Human Realm. His lust for destruction outweighs his lust for me and the other monsters he's had sex with."
"Wait wha-"
"So please, allow me to help you!" Orimi pleaded.
I scratched my head and sighed then placed my hand on my hip. "Fine...But if it gets too hard, feel free to run and hide. War isn't a thing you want to experience."
Orimi stood up straight and looked at me with a smile. "I won't let you down, you'll see!"
"Alright. Let's head to the Fourth Sakura District. Toucan is close to us." Misao said then lead the way.
Orimi and I followed Misao to the Fourth Sakura District and I looked at Orimi.
"Tell me something... You're half human half monster correct?" I asked.
"Mhm." Orimi nodded and looked at me.
"What are your monster powers?" I asked.
"Well I can manipulate things on a cosmic scale. I have three levels, Planetary, Galactic, and Universal. I am known as one of the strongest monsters when I go all out in battle, but I don't like fighting. Unlike my brother, I've harnessed my humanity and humility. Yoshida has been around monsters a lot more than me and harnessed his monster side turning him into a ruthless being." Orimi answered.
"Is Yoshida really as powerful as everyone makes him out to be?" I asked.
"He's like ultra strong. Maybe the strongest being I know at the moment. He is the Ultimate Being. He has every monster aura known to man and he's nothing to take lightly. He was strong enough to take down all five deities of the Tree of Life and take down Uncle Thalamel and Aunt Lilith of the Tree of Death. It's nearly impossible to defeat him as he is now." Orimi answered.
"I see...And he's going to be Quietus's vessel as well so that means he's getting more power on top of that. Fallan is really planning to destroy everything we know." I sighed and looked at Misao.
"Fallan has new tools to use and she's gonna make every bit of it count. Even back then she had the Key of Origin and that was enough for her to become the strongest Ruler until the Sovereign of Creation created new Rulers to take down Fallan." Misao said.
"How strong was these supposed Sovereigns?" Orimi asked.
"Strong enough to erase your Monstet Realm if they wanted. They aren't your average God and Goddess. The two created everything and even will destroy everything if they deem something unfit for the universe." Misao answered.
"I see. So much stronger than the Tree of Life and Death." Orimi nodded.
We continued to make our way to the Fourth Sakura District and once we made it, we noticed a festival happening. They seemed to be having a celebration for Toucon.
"A celebration." I said.
"A celebration to honor the Shrine Maiden of the Fouth Sakura District, Miko Ariella." Misao answered.
"We should join them, it would be fun to just relax for once in a while." I said and smiled at Misao.
Misao looked uncertain, but gave in and smiled back. "Alright, but only for a little while. We still have two more beasts to seal away."
I nodded and the three of us went to enjoy the festival for a little while.
The Original Overlord finally appeared at the First Sakura District and looked around. She tried to sense our energy and caught Orimi's energy then followed it. She flew towards us in high speeds.
"The Statue of Ariella and Toucon. A legendary monument. She's done a lot for her people and they still love her till this day." Misao said.
"Miko Misao!" A girl said then hurried over to us.
Misao smiled at her and accepted her offering then watched the little girl leave. "I'm really going to miss this when it's my time to be sealed away. I love my people and my sisters' people. They have been nothing but kind to us even when we made mistakes.."
"They will keep you in their memory, I'm sure they will." I smiled then heard a scream.
We looked back and heard a screech then looked at the sky. A giant gold feathered hawk screeched and swooped down, landing on the ground. A few Fallen were summoned as well.
"I guess our time of peace has come to an end." I said then summoned my sword.
"Heroes...it is time for you to die." The Original Overlord laughed and floated down.
She had long black hair, red eyes, had six black wings on her back and a red halo above her head. She wore a black and gray dress, brown stockings, and black heels. She gave a sickening sweet smile, similar to Yae's smile.
"Who is that?" Orimi asked.
"That is Severa. The Original Overlord. Her evilness is even worse than Fallan's at times...She is bad news..." Misao said then summoned her katana.
"Resistance will get you nowhere. You all shall feel the wrath of the Overlords!" Severa laughed and snapped her fingers then Toucon began to emit evil aura.
"Hisumi, you handle Severa because as I am now, I don't think I can fight her." Misao said.
I nodded and my lightning wings emerged from my back then I flew in the air.
"I'll help you take down, whatever that bird thing is." Orimi said then stood beside Misao
I looked at Severa and began to have memories that weren't mine again. I closed my eyes then smirked. "This feeling I have when I look at you. It pisses me off!"
I flew towards Severa and she laughed then flew towards me and summoned her long demonic sword. We slashed at each other then clashed with one another. We clashed multiple times then Severa knocked my katana out of my hand then pushed me backwards and flew towards me the kneed my gut then hit me with a double axe hammer, knocking me to the ground.
I crashed onto the ground and groaned.
Misao and Orimi battled the Fallen and took out most of them in a timely manner then focused their attention on Toucon. Toucon let out a piercing cry then spread her wings outwide. Misao summoned Misua and watched Toucon fly in the air.
Aermyth flew down and landed beside Misao, wanting Misao and Orimi to get on her back so they can pursue Toucon. Misao and Orimi got on Aermyth's back and Aermyth flew off to the sky. Toucon screeched and summoned tornadoes in front of Aermyth. Aermyth roared and dodged the tornadoes them unleashed beams of energy at Toucon, but she dodged them.
"I can do this...I did it before on the beach and I can do it now." Orimi said then looked at the sky and began to draw power from the moon.
"What are you doing?" Misao asked.
"I'm using the power of the moon to generate energy to unleash a powerful lunar blast at the hawk monster beast thing." Orimi said.
"Her name is Toucon. Also if you're going to be the main offense, you're better off on the front." Misao said.
"Right." Orimi nodded.
They swapped positions and Orimi was now on the front. Misao looked down and noticed Misua rushing after them.
I slowly stood up and looked at Severa. I summoned my sword back in my hand and watched her land on the ground. She smirked and ran towards me and I ran to her. We clashed multiple times then I slid backwards and a flurry of slashes hit Severa and I teleported in front of her then kicked her away. I landed on my feet then used a burst of speed to appear above her then bellowed as I punched her stomach. She ground then we crashed through the ground and landed in a cave.
Severa grunted as she hit the ground of the cave then I landed in front of her. I got in my battle stance and lightning crackled around my body.
Toucon and Aermyth still battled in the skies while Orimi still tried to draw enough energy to strike down Toucon. Toucon sent razor winds towards Aermyth and Aermyth summoned a lightning barrier around her body to block the cutting winds.
"I got it!" Orimi said then raised her hand to the sky and a large ball of lunar energy appeared above her hand. "Lucent Meteor!"
She sent the ball crashing down at Toucon and an explosion happened causing Toucon to crash down to the ground. Aermyth began to dive to the ground and landed on the ground after Toucon hit the ground.
Toucon gave a weak cry then the dark energy around her body dispersed. Misao got off Aermyth's back and noticed Toucon slowly turning into magic energy and Ariella held her head and fell to the ground. Misao summoned another talisman and looked at Ariella.
"Misao..." Ariella started.
"Say no more, my beloved sister...I understand how you feel." Misao said and looked sad. "Rest peacefully in the afterlife.."
Misao began to seal Toucon and Ariella away using the talisman then burned the talisman into ashes. Orimi looked at Misao and felt bad for her.
I went for a decisive strike on Severa but she dodged and glared at me. She stood up straight and smirked.
"Seems I am too weak for now. I must find my core and afterwards, you'll be the first person I strike down." Severa said then warped away.
I sighed then teleported to Aermyth and looked at Orimi and Misao.
"Only one left. Vamera. The Third Sakura District will be our final stop before heading back to the First Sakura District." Misao said.
