Nagini stopped running and noticed Severa on the ground. She noticed that Severa had grown even weaker and more vulnerable. Nagini summoned her cross and changed it to Attack Mode. She walked towards Severa and dragged the blade of her Greatsword along the ground and glared.
"Heh...do you truly believe you have a chance at winning this war..? Fallan will destroy everything and you will be left with nothing. We will create the PERFECT Realm! The Perfect Universe! This is the Age of the Fallen! The Age of Human Extinction!" Severa laughed then slammed her hand on the ground then a large purple Fallen Mecha appeared out of a portal and landed on the ground.
I summoned Misua and unsheathed my katanas then glared at the Fallen Mecha. "What the hell is that thing..?!"
"Its name is known as the Empress. This Mecha is a Goddess Level threat and if we don't stop it, Siberia is gone for good.." Ataraxia said then summoned her cross and changed it into her Naginata.
Severa laughed and spread her wings then flew in the sky then flew towards the Empress. "I won't go down without a fight! Mark my words Infinity Council! I'll kill you all!"
We watched Severa get inside of the Empress and dark aura surged around her body. The Empress spread her mechanical wings and let out a robotic roar then opened her mouth wide open and a cannon was exposed. She unleashed a blue beam of energy at us.
Nagini changed her cross into Defense Mode and blocked the beam then grunted and slid backwards. "Cover me! I can hack into that Mecha and gain control of it! I need some time to do it though!"
Ataraxia and I nodded then we dashed forward towards the Empress. The Empress locked onto us and shot multiple missiles at us. I sliced through the missles and vanished. Ataraxia dodged them flawlessly then spread her wings and flew up towards one of the Empress's cores then threw her naginata at it then warped towards her weapon and stabbed the core. She yelled then began to slice the core in half.
The Empress roared and shook Ataraxia off and locked onto me. I ran up the Empress's leg and dodged each of her missles then reached the core on her arm then rapidly slashed at it, dealing quick and massive damage to her core. She shook me off then went for a powerful punch. I used my katanas to block the punch from the Empress, but was blown to the ground.
I groaned and rolled backwards. I recovered and slid backwards on one knee. "She's powerful...We need to make an opening!"
Ataraxia changed her weapon into a bow and took aim at the Empress. "Go! I'll make an opening for you! Take down her legs first!"
I nodded and dashed forward towards the Empress. I noticed her locking onto me and she held her hands out at me then shot hundred of energy blasts at me. I dodged the energy blasts and noticed some explosions in the sky. Ataraxia was shooting hundreds of light arrows at the energy blasts to prevent them from hitting me.
I noticed the Empress opening her mouth wide open and grunted then used my Flash Step Technique to move faster. The Empress tried to lock onto me, but I was moving too fast for her. She blindly shot the beam and I dodged to the left and rolled forward then Misua ran forward and picked me up, tossing me on her back. She leaped towards the Core and I jumped off her back then slashed downward and sliced the weakened core in half. The core exploded and one of the Empress's legs were gone.
"I fucking hate these bastards! I want you all to die!" Severa yelled and the Empress roared and holographic particles appeared where her broken leg was then a new leg without a core appeared.
"Regeneration Abilities..? You've got to be kidding me..!" I said then landed on Misua's back.
"At least she's Weakened. Just a bit more and we would have truly weakened her enough so Nagini can hack her without fail. This is Fallen Technology, a foreign technology not even Nagini can hack. She's only experienced in Human Technology and Technology she creates." Misua explained.
Empress let out a roar as her left arm was blown off her body. A new arm replaced her old one then she dashed towards Ataraxia. Ataraxia glared then perfectly dodged all of the Empress's attack then backflipped. Ten arrows of light struck the Empress's right arm before she even noticed and her arm blew up.
Severa screamed and the Empress let out a mechanical roar then stumbled backwards. "What the fuck was that..?!"
Ataraxia landed on her feet and changed her weapon into her Origin Mode. "Your Mecha is being crippled down. Just face the facts and give up."
"Never! I'll never give up! Empress! Berserker Mode!" Severa yelled and the Empress let out a mechanical scream and her body turned black and emitted red aura. A red halo appeared above her head then she summoned her scythe. "I'll never let you defeat me! This world...will be destroyed! I'll destroy everything!"
Ataraxia and I looked at the Berserker Empress and I grunted at how powerful her aura was.
"I can't believe how strong that Mecha is..." I said then changed into my Ruler Form.
"Yeah. Fallan's Creations are all powerful especially Quietus. We have to weaken that thing even more, but I know we can do it. Let's march forward!" Ataraxia said then spread her wings then flew ahead.
Misua ran after her and lightning wings emerged from her sides then she flew towards the Berserker Empress.
Empress flew towards us and slashed rapidly at us. We dodged her attacks and I jumped off Misua's back and avoided the missles. She slashed at me and I used my Raijin Shield to block the attack then yelled and aimed for the core at her chest. I struck the core and surrounded my body with my lightning. I yelled and rapid thrusted my katana at her core and kicked off it, landing back on Misua's back.
"Barely did any damage to it." I said.
"Berserker Empress is immune to Elemental Attacks that she has an advantage over. Lightning Attacks won't do anything to her. Switch your Saiketsu to its Fire Mode and you will be able to deal damage to her." Misua said.
I looked at my Saiketsu and managed to switch the element from lightning to fire then Misua turned around and dove toward Empress's Core and I jumped off her back then somersaulted forward then dove straight to Empress's Core.
"Fool! I'll blow you away!" Severa bellowed and Empress's chest opened up revealing a massive cannon then she began to charge up a powerful attack.
"Hisumi!" Nagini yelled.
I glared and my eyes shined brightly. "I'll make it! Trust me!"
"Get out of there! You won't survive that attack!" Nagini yelled.
I kept diving towards Empress's Core and created a barrier of lightning and fire around my body as she unleashed the powerful energy beam towards me. I groaned and yelled as the barrier immediately began to crack. I surrounded my Saiketsu with flames then shoved my katana into the core. I began to drag my katana downward and sliced the core in half. A massive explosion happened and I was blown away. Misua caught me and tossed me onto her back then flew away.
Empress let out a roar and stumbled backwards then fell on one knee.
Nagini looked at Empress and nodded then shot an energy beam at her and began to take over Empress. "Self Destruct!"
Empress's eyes shined and she used her scythe to stab herself and her body began to shine red. Severa looked surprised and ejected herself from the Mecha, but was caught in the explosion and groaned loudly. Her wings were badly damaged and she crashed onto the ground then coughed.
Misua landed on the ground and I made my way off her back. I looked at Severa and walked towards her and sheathed my Key of the Skies. I walked to her with my Saiketsu in hands then stopped right in front of her.
"Your victory over me will be short lived...You still have Siroz...Fallan...and the Umbra Overlord to deal with before you've won this war...not to mention the Monsters. Heh...it's almost like what you did here didn't matter at all.." Severa chuckled and spit out blood.
Nagini and Ataraxia walked up beside me and stood beside me. I looked at them and looked back at Severa.
"You'll never get your perfect happy ending...Yae...Saito...Orika...they will fall the same fate as their predecessors. Especially Saito being the Ruler of Humanity. You'll never win, Hisumi. You're only delaying...the inevitable." Severa smirked.
I glared and looked at my katana then looked back at Severa. I infused the blade with Divine Energy. "See you in the afterlife...Severa." I said then stabbed her heart with my katana and kept pushing the katana deeper into her body.
Severa slowly died and her body went limp then I took my katana out of her chest then performed the chiburi before sheathing my weapon.
"We should hunt for the next core. Come on." Nagini said then opened a portal.
Ataraxia and I followed her inside then the portal closed.
Orimi looked at Tsuki, Exousia, and Bellatrix and tended to their wounds. "I can't keep hiding away and letting my friends get hurt because of my brother. He isn't himself...he's being taking control of and I'll save him even if it's the last thing I do."
"But he's with Bachiko and we know how she is. The other monsters will be targeting you as well since you sided with the humans." Exousia said.
"I don't care. I'll knock some sense into him." Orimi said then finished healing the three of them then stood up.
Florence watched Orimi and uncrossed her arms. "You can't do this alone, cher ami. They will destroy you."
"I know, but with my Monster Ability...I'm willing to take that risk." Orimi said before walking out of the house.
Yan Mei watched her then followed her. "I'll go with her. She will be needing all the assistance she can get."
"Alright. I'll keep watch over the others." Florence said.
"Good. See you soon, Florence." Yan Mei said then left the house.
