We followed Nagini as she led us to the Pyramid of Anubis. I looked around and noticed an Anubis Head poking out of a pyramid. We walked towards that pyramid.
"The first Uprising Goddess we will be facing off against will be Nubis, Anubis's Reincarnation. She is known as the Sunless Goddess, she has Fire Manipulation, Death Manipulation, and Energy Manipulation. She also is connected with the Ennead, but isn't really an Ennead." Nagini explained.
"She's a Goddess so that means she's not gonna be easy to fight. You have to bring your best alright?" Liao Ru said then walked ahead.
I nodded and noticed Liao Ru stop. I sensed Fallen behind us and turned around.
"We will have to deal with our unwanted guests first." Liao Ru said then summoned her sword.
We all got prepared and rushed into battle. We began to strike down the Fallen one by one and more were being summoned. I looked around for the Summoner, but I couldn't find them. Nagini scanned each of their auras and found the Summoner. She pointed at the Fallen Angel Fallen and Ataraxia took aim at the Summoner. She pulled and released the string of her bow.
The summoner dodged the first arrow, but was struck in their head by the second arrow. They dispersed into energy particles. We thought it was over but more Fallen kept arriving.
"Two Summoners..?!" I asked.
"There are in fact two Summoners. We killed one, but another has to be nearby." Nagini said.
We noticed the Fallen disappearing one by one and Nagini sensed someone from a distance. I looked where Nagini was looking. I noticed a woman wearing an outfit similar to Nobunaga's outfit. She wore black and red armor with a red cape. Her hair was red with black highlights and her eyes shined red. She performed the chiburi, flicking the blood off her odachi before sheathing her weapon.
"Who is that..?" I asked.
"Number XIV. Raiden Oda." Nagini said.
Raiden walked to us and smirked. Liao Ru and Ataraxia looked at her then at Nagini. Nagini walked forward.
"It's been a while. Where were you for the last few years?" Nagini asked.
Raiden rested the scabbard of her weapon against her shoulder. "I've been unlocking my potential. While you all have been playing Ordinary, I have been around the world and unlocked my full power and acquired my Crest." She answered and showed off her Oda Crest.
"We haven't been playing Ordinary. We've been on the down low and if you were around, you would've known." Liao Ru said.
"Mhm. The Infinity Council has been irrelevant since the day Viktoria Kästner saved all of your asses. I'm surprised I still even associate myself with you all, but I guess it all turned out good because now I have a reason to show off my newly found power." Raiden said and her eyes shined.
"She gives me some off vibes." I said then looked at Nagini then subtly wrapped my pinkie around hers.
"Don't worry, she won't do anything to you. Not as long as I'm around, my lab rat.." Nagini said.
Raiden looked at me and smiled then closed her eyes. She walked ahead. "I'm sure I know what you all are doing here and I want you all to know that I'm joining this cause. I want to see those Overlords taken down as much as the next woman."
I watched her enter the pyramid then we all followed her inside. The torches on the walls lit up the pyramid and I looked around inside. There were multiple Anubis Statues around the area. We pressed forward then purple mist began to obstruct my vision. Once the mist cleared, I noticed myself in another room with Raiden by my side.
"What the- Wait how did we get here..?" I asked and looked around for Nagini, Ataraxia, and Liao Ru.
"Looks like you're stuck with me until we find a way to progress." Raiden said.
I looked at her then looked ahead and walked forward. "I'm not so sure about you, but you're the only thing I have so beggars can't be choosers."
Raiden smiled then followed me. We wandered around the large area to try and find a way out of it. I noticed a hooded figure standing in front of us and stopped walking. Raiden stopped as well and looked at the hooded figure.
"That's a necromancer. I can feel their grim aura.." Raiden said.
"Rise up." The necromancer said then summoned an Undead Knight.
The Undead Knight summoned his claymore and let out a low ghoulish growl. His lime green eyes shield in his helmet and green aura began to flow out of his armor.
"Fifteen minutes.." The necromancer said.
"Fifteen minutes..?" Raiden asked.
"I think they're saying, we have fifteen minutes to defeat both of them." I said.
"Simple, just aim for the source!" Raiden dashed forward and went straight for the Necromancer.
She yelled and unsheathed her blade then slashed at her, but the Necromancer's body was intangible as her blade only phased through her. Raiden looked surprised then avoided the Undead Knight's attack and jumped backwards, sliding back.
"Well it seems the Knight comes first!" I said then unsheathed my katanas then dashed forward. I used a burst of speed to move around him quickly and multiple slashes hit him, dealing massive damage to him.
I appeared in front of him then struck his weak point and my eyes shined. The necromancer smirked as they only brought him back to life. I took my sword out of his body then dodged his attack perfectly, making him hit a speed clone. My clone turned into lightning and electrocuted him. He let out a ghoulish pained yell. I landed beside Raiden and exhaled.
"Seems like we will be here for longer than I thought. We gotta find a way to kill that Necromancer. That's our only way out of here." Raiden said.
"I might have an idea. I'm taking a huge risk with this but I'll just do this!" I dashed towards the Necromancer and black lightning surrounded my arm. I bellowed and went to strike her down, but I merely phased through her. I infused the black lightning into my katana then slashed at her, but the Necromancer wasn't able to be hit at all.
"What do we do..? She isn't going down at all...and we need to get to Nubis fast." Raiden said.
I dodged the undead knight and backflipped off one hand then slid backwards. "Can't believe I have to use this ability just so we can defeat some pathetic Necromancer..!"
"What ability?" Raiden asked then dodged the undead knight's attack.
I began chanting and awakened the Miko inside of me then a Divine Symbol shined on my forehead then formed into the Shinto Deity's symbol of Susanoo. My Saiketsu transformed into Susanoo's Sword, Orochi no Aramasa. My eyes shined white and I grunted as I felt his immense power surging through my body.
"What the hell is this power..? Your power just sky rocketed..!" Raiden said in pure shock.
"This is the ability of Divine Conduit..! I can only maintain this power for five minutes as this takes a lot of energy to use! Cover me by handling the Undead!" I bellowed and dashed towards the Necromancer.
Raiden watched and dodged the undead knight. She blocked his attacks and slashed through him and looked at me.
"You can't hit me you fool no matter how strong you get!" The necromancer bellowed.
I bellowed and lightning surrounded my sword. I slashed at her then actually hit her. She grunted then coughed blood. She and Raiden was surprised. I sent the Necromancer crashing through a pillar and conjured water around my body. The necromancer stood up and her eyes shined. She dashed to me and bellowed then went for multiple attacks against me. I punched her stomach and she coughed blood then a water bubble surrounded her body. She began to float upwards.
I jumped up and kicked her upwards then grunted and bellowed as powerful lightning crackled around the area. I let out a roar as a powerful bolt of Divine Lightning struck the necromancer then a massive explosion happened.
Raiden groaned as she covered her face from the explosion. "No...no wonder she took Qiao Zhi's place...she's insane..!"
Nagini dodged the multiple lamia and heard the explosion. "That's strange...I can't feel my lab rat's energy.."
"Yeah...I can't either." Ataraxia said then sliced the head off a lamia and got in her stance.
"Either one of two things happened...she's dead...or she's become stronger than any Ruler to ever exist." Nagini said.
"I'm banking on the fact she's become too strong...but how could she have gotten that strong..?" Ataraxia asked.
"No idea, but we should wrap this up now!" Nagini bellowed.
"Allow me.." Ataraxia said then transformed her Cross into its Origin Mode. Her cross began to float and she placed her hands together in praying position and interlocked her fingers. Angel wings appeared behind her and her eyes shined red as she looked at the enemies. She flapped her wings and ascended to the air. "Heaven's Gates: Michael..."
She said then a bright light shined above them and a massive, destructive beam of light struck the ground. Nagini looked at Ataraxia and crossed her arms then looked at their enemies. She was impressed by Ataraxia's power. The light disappeared and Ataraxia landed on her two feet and grabbed her cross and giggled softly. Nagini nodded then walked ahead with Ataraxia following behind.
Liao Ru dashed ahead and clashed with a mummy and dodged his next attack then punched his side then kicked him away. She appeared in front of him then grabbed his face and bellowed then tossed him in the air then closed her eyes as her flames turned black, awakening the Black Phoenix within her. She opened her eyes then palmed the mummy's stomach as he was falling then the ground began to break and a repulsive force of energy destroyed everything around the area then he was sent crashing through a wall.
Liao Ru heard the explosion and noticed the mummy slowly decaying into sand. "The hell was that..?" She asked and reverted back to normal.
I panted and reverted to normal then fell on my knees. I panted and noticed a drop of blood fall on the ground. I sniffled and wiped my nose then noticed my nose was bleeding. I grunted lightly then sat on the floor.
"Not only are you a Ruler and Overlord...but you are also a Miko. From the sound of it...you are the strongest we've got other than Nagini and Ataraxia." Raiden said as she sheathed her weapon.
"Yeah but the Miko thing takes a lot out of my body. It's like very spiritual and I'm don't have that much Spirit Energy to be asking the Shinto Deities for help." I said then finally got my nose to stop bleeding.
"Well we might need that power again for this upcoming battle. So take your time resting.." Raiden said then placed a hand on her hip.
I rested for a while and began to regain my energy. "Raiden. Why did you disappear from the Infinity Council? It seems like you are one of the strongest members here especially since you have Nobunaga's Blood within you."
"Fallan was already defeated. Why would I stay around and stay hidden when there was progress to be made? I am known as The Demon now. The Oda Clan's Blood rushes through me. I was the weakest link of the Infinity Council. Everyone else was goddesses amongst gods...I was still the weakest one there, but that's no longer the case." Raiden said then looked off into the distance.
I looked at Raiden. She was pretty strong from what I've seen, and she's really pretty too. The fact she's still a human and can keep up with us is very impressive. I stood up and looked at Raiden. "Well you are certainly not weak...You are strong in my eyes."
Raiden looked at me and noticed me walk off. She smiled and followed me.
We all met up on the final floor and noticed a woman sitting on a throne, wearing an outfit similar to Anubis's. She looked at us and smirked. Her amber colored eyes shined and her lightly tanned skin glistened with beauty. This was the Uprising Goddess, Nubis.
"You came this far...now I must send you back down where you came.." Nubis said then looked at us.
"Nope..we are taking your key so we can prevent any more casualties from happening. If Siroz gets her core, Egypt will be swarming with Fallen and your home is lost.." I said then walked forward.
"Heh...right. Siroz the Overlord of Sins. Alright. If you beat me in battle, I'll hand over the key. If you lose...mummified." Nubis said.
"All I need is five minutes.." I said then smirked.
"Five minutes..? This is an Uprising Goddess we are talking about." Liao Ru said.
"I know, but trust me. I only need five minutes to defeat her!" I bellowed and my Spirit Energy surged around my body then a symbol appeared on my forehead. The symbol transformed into the Ryujin Symbol and I began to obtain his power.
"Oh-ho! You're a Miko! I should've known." Nubis said then stood up. "You still haven't even mastered your Ruler Form yet, but I can sense your power exceeds even Nagini's!"
She dashed to me and summoned her axe. I dashed to her and water surrounded my body. We clashed and pushed each other backwards then she smirked and slashed rapidly, sending multiple cutting waves of flames at me. I held my hand out then a barrier of water evaporated the cutting waves then water tentacles emerged from the barrier then rushed over to Nubis. She dodged the attack and manipulated my spirit energy and made me revert back to normal. I looked surprised then was blown backwards into a wall and groaned.
"She was able to break through her power?!" Raiden asked in shock then prepared herself.
"This is an Uprising Goddess we are talking about...She's highly experienced and she has Energy Manipulation. She can manipulate all forms of energy to her favor even if it means making it disappear." Liao Ru said then got prepared.
Nubis looked at me and rose an eyebrow. "That energy.."
I got off the wall and my Gem of Fulgur shined brightly within me. I opened my eyes slowly and awakened my Ruler Form.
"This...feels so much different than her normal awakening.." Nagini said.
"Has she figured it out..? Her power..?" Ataraxia asked.
"She awakened new abilities...Gravity Aura, Raijin's Three Fingers, Oni Physiology, and Guardianship.." Nagini said as she studied me.
I sheathed my katanas then held my hand out and lightning crackled in my hands then a large golden war hammer formed in my hand.
"What is that weapon..?" Raiden asked.
"That's Raijin's Divine Weapon...Vronti!" Ataraxia said.
I bellowed and dashed towards Nubis. Nubis smirked and dashed towards me. She slashed at me and I perfectly dodged her attack then appeared behind her in godlike speeds. My golden eyes emitted lightning and Nubis turned around surprised. I roared and swung my hammer then hit Nubis with tremendous force. She groaned and her irises disappeared then coughed blood. The Oni in me took control of me and as she was sent flying, I grabbed her leg and slammed her to the ground multiple times.
I tossed her in the air then kicked her upwards, trapping her in lightning energy. I crossed my arm and bellowed loudly then raised my arms in the air. "Divine Storm Explosion!" I bellowed as the lightning energy began to shine rainbow colors and released a multicolored burst of energy then created a gigantic explosion.
Nubis groaned loudly as she was sent flying. I held my hand out and used my gravity aura to pull her to me then caught her by the throat.
"Hisumi! That's enough!" Nagini yelled. "You've already won!"
I looked back and noticed Nagini looking at me. I looked back at Nubis then dropped her then exhaled then smoke came from my mouth. I slowly reverted to normal and my hammer disappeared.
Nubis coughed and held her neck. "Fuck woman...You need to control that shit..!" Nubis said then summoned the Key of Anubis and I took it.
"One key down...eleven more to go." I said.
The others looked at me and Raiden feared my uncontrolled Ruler Form because of my Oni Physiology. I looked at the others and nodded then walked off.
