I woke up from my nap, hearing the sounds of footsteps approaching me and Artemis. I moved my body, waking up Artemis, and looking around, listening to the sound so I know where the footsteps were approaching.
"Mmm...what is it, Dragon..? Do you hear something..?" Artemis asked and rubbed her eyes.
"Yes. I do in fact." I quietly growled. "Someone is approaching us."
"So you can talk...uhm anyway...do you know where they are coming from?" She asked.
"Sounds like they are...behind us!" I roared then got up and turned around then noticed a male standing in front of us. Artemis stood up and looked at the male as well. "Dragon energy..?"
"So that energy came from you..." The male said.
The male was a young man with dark blue hair and green highlights that was tied in a sort ponytail. His ears were pointed like Olympia and his eyes shined a yellowish orange color. He had four black horns, two on the front of his head and two on the back. He wore a white cloak with the Infinity Council symbol on the back around his shoulders. He wore a black shirt and black pants with black boots. At first I thought he wore gauntlets on his arms, but those were his natural Dragon Arms.
"Number IX...Borsu. This is Borsu...The Breaker. His power rivaled that of Qiao Zhi's at a point of time before he was ultimately killed by him. He lost control of his power and Qiao Zhi saw an opportunity to slay him and did. He was revived scientifically by Nagini and upgraded his body to be more of his nature." Artemis explained.
"I'm assuming you were killed by him as well..?" I looked at Artemis.
"Yes. Killed in Europe. I was trying to save its people with my strongest melody...the Melody of Ragnarok. The Song of Destruction and it was enough to kill Qiao Zhi once and for all. He ripped my tongue out of my mouth then severed my head off my shoulders. Nagini revived me in perfect condition and even enhanced my musical abilities to have immediate effect if possible." Artemis said.
I looked at Borsu and noticed he wanted to speak, but he was fighting himself on it. He seemed to be thinking hard on what he wanted to say then opened his mouth to finally speak.
"You should learn to control your dragon energy. We can't have this around us." He said, kinda harshly but didn't mean to sound like that.
"Borsu..!" Artemis glared.
"Sorry." He said then closed his eyes.
"He's right.." I turned around then laid back down. "I nearly killed the people I cared about because of this form. I summoned Fallen to kill them, but I lost someone who I cared about which drew this power out of me."
"It's shocking to see how calm you are now." Borsu said.
"Because of Mona. When she attacked me, I was brought back to my senses...I regained control of myself and retreated instead of doubling down." I closed my eyes.
"That power was enormous...When I noticed the sky getting cloudy, I thought it was an Uprising Goddess, but...to know it was you.." Borsu said. "I believe this is a good chance to work on controlling your Ryu Form. This will start by quelling the anger you have inside."
I raised my head and watched Borsu sit next to me. I watched him sit with his legs criss crossed.
"You must regulate your emotions. This is how beasts like you and I remain calm. We aren't normal humans anymore. We are a myth to most humans. Even during the monster era, dragons were very uncommon in fact no one has seen a dragon at all." Borsu started.
"You lost me at the myth part. I don't care if I'm a myth or not. I just want to protect those who are dear to me." I sighed and smoke came from my nose.
"Right right..I got side tracked. To control your draconic power, you must have a clear mind. Us dragons despite our rage, can enter tranquility almost as fast as Ataraxia can. So find your inner peace." Borsu said then his aura calmly surrounded his body.
I laid my head down then closed my eyes, attempting to find my inner peace. My aura surrounded my body and I began to relax more. Borsu felt my calm energy then nodded. Artemis watched and sat back down then leaned against my body.
"I can't really pinpoint her energy. That's so odd because usually I can always track her." Nagini said.
"I can't sense her energy either. It's almost like she's not here." Liao Ru said as she skated on her scabbard.
"Strange.." Olympia said.
Misao tried to use her energy to track my Miko energy, but couldn't since I wasn't using my Miko abilities. "I can't even track her with my Miko abilities. Seems we are at a loss here."
Nagini stopped and sighed. "Let's rest for a bit.." Nagini said then yawned as she was getting a bit sleepy from all the energy she used up fighting me.
The others sat down and decided to rest as well. Liao and Misao were chatting and becoming close once again like they once were. Nagini and Olympia...still had their differences to settle.
"What's your fascination with my Lab Rat..?" Nagini started.
"What?" Olympia looked at Nagini.
"Don't even deny it. I know you're fascinated by her. You wanna grow closer to her. For what just so you can betray her as well..? You've got a track history of taking advantage of women." Nagini said. Liao Ru and Misao stopped their conversation to listen in on what Nagini and Olympia were discussing.
"What..? You take me for some kind of whore..? I know I'm undeniably lesbian, and a simple tactician, but that doesn't mean I'll just go out of my way to take advantage of women. Besides what if I am interested in your precious Hisumi..? Are you gonna stop me from having a simple infatuation with her? I didn't take you for the jealous type." Olympia said.
Nagini blushed and glared at Olympia. "Me jealous..? No...I am only gonna simply stop you before things go a little south. I will not allow you to hurt my beloved.."
Olympia looked at Nagini then stood up. She scoffed then smirked. "Why do you truly hate me, Noxius? You, Qiao Zhi, and Artemis were all wary of me for a while even during Qiao Zhi's betrayal he still sought me as a traitor...I have a slight suspicion that your hatred for me...is personal."
Nagini looked at Olympia then glared. She summoned her cross and noticed Olympia summoning her bow. Both of them jumped back and decided to end this multi century long beef once and for all.
"H-Hey! Both of you stop it now! We are all supposed to be friends and allies!" Misao said then stood up and felt Liao Ru grab her hand.
"Stay out of this...their minds are made up. They are ending this with a fight. There's nothing we can do." Liao Ru said.
"I hate you because you stole Maruno from me! You stole my previous lab rat and had her killed..! It was your fault why the Overlord of Thunder and The Original Overlord found us! It was your fault why Maruno died! It was all your fault! I'll never forgive you for that! Never!" Nagini yelled and switched her cross into Attack Mode then dashed toward Olympia and bellowed.
"Ha! You're mad at me because no one can resist my charms?!" Olympia mocked and grunted at she dodged Nagini's attack. "News Flash! I never caused that to happen! It was the Key of Origin that led them to the lab! It was Qiao Zhi who led them there behind our backs!"
Olympia bellowed as she summoned a massive arrow and shot it at Nagini. Nagini deflected the arrow and glared at Olympia.
"It doesn't change the fact that you still got the two people I loved killed! If you hadn't showed up, we would've figured out the true power of the Key of Origin and saved the universe so long ago! The Zodiac Era wouldn't have happened! The Fallen Era wouldn't have happened! Judgement's Change wouldn't have happened! The Monster Era wouldn't have happened! Everything stems from you!" Nagini yelled and transformed into her Ruler Form. "Qiao Zhi's betrayal wouldn't have happened!"
Olympia transformed into her Ruler Form as well then glared. "You're not blaming that on me! I take accountability for everything else except him! I had no part in his fucking motives...so I refuse to sit here and listen to you blaming me for everything that I had no part in!"
"Olympia's power...did she master her Ruler Form?" Misao asked.
"Yeah. This is Almighty Ascension. She's on par with Ataraxia, Naginu, and an Uncontrolled Ryu Form Hisumi as well as Fallan." Liao Ru nodded.
"Nagini...I always thought of you as my closest friend and I'm sorry for everything I've put you through, but I'm no longer sitting through this hatred so I'll knock some compassion in your heart!" Olympia bellowed then transformed her bow in its Origin Mode. She jumped backwards then aimed at Nagini. A magic circle appeared in front of her bow.
"Knock some compassion into my heart..? Ironic how you say that when you barely have any of your own! I'm ending this now!" Nagini bellowed and transformed her Cross into its Origin Mode.
Olympia bellowed and her eyes shined brightly as a crystal dome formed around her and Nagini. "You're not avoiding this attack! Crystal...Storm!!" She yelled and shot a large arrow through the magic circle and summoned a stream of endless waves of hundreds of beams that bounced around the dome.
Nagini dodged the beams and began to charge up her own attack. She roared and finished charging her attack. "Infinity Massacre!" She blasted a beam at Olympia then her eyes widened when she noticed multiple beam headed directly toward her.
Olympia dodged the beam then gasped as she noticed the beam deflect toward her. Both Nagini and Olympia were hit by each other's attacks then a massive explosion happened. The crystal dome shattered and both women fell to the ground and reverted to their normal forms and panted. Misao and Liao Ru watched in shock.
Olympia slowly stood up and noticed her bow shatter into magic particles then looked at her hand. She looked at Nagini who was also standing up. Nagini noticed her cross shattering into magic particles then looked at Olympia. They both ran toward each other then yelled.
"That's enough!" A voice screamed out towards them.
Olympia and Nagini stopped as they heard the voice. They looked in the direction the voice came from then noticed a woman standing in front of them.
"Viktoria..." Liao Ru said.
Viktoria had medium length blonde hair with a braid on the side of her hair and dons a ponytail on the back of her hair. Her eyes were gray with pink pupils. Her outfit was very steampunk. She wore a white corset wirh dark brown shorts. She wore a black short cloak around her shoulders. She also wore dark colored stockings with brown boots. Around her waist was a waist cape she loved to wear.
"Why are you two fighting..? There's no reason for this! We are a team, friends! Stop this now!" Viktoria said then walked toward them and held their arms.
Nagini looked at Viktoria then at Olympia. Olympia looked at Nagini then looked down a bit. Nagini sighed and turned away.
"Listen Olympia...just promise me you won't hurt her." Nagini said.
"I wouldn't dare repeat the same careless mistakes of my past. This is a new century...meaning we have to grow. Promise me you won't hate me anymore." Olympia said.
"I guess I'll promise that." Nagini said then turned around to look at Olympia.
Olympia smiled then held her hand out. Nagini took her hand and they made up. They made their way back to Liao Ru and Misao.
"Nngh! These damn Risen!" Raiden grunted and blocked an attack.
"They are stronger than ever now!" Ataraxia grunted then dodged an attack then stumbled backwards and was now back to back with Raiden.
Mona's body shook as she noticed Vinci being destroyed by a Risen. "V-Vinci.."
Another Risen dashed towards Mona and went for an attack. Mona stumbled backwards and panicked then tripped. She screamed then closed her eyes tightly. She opened her eyes slowly then looked surprised seeing a man in front of her. He was a man who was in his 20s who had long silver hair with blue highlights and silver eyes with red pupils, but his eyes were closed. He wore a white polo with a black sash and black jeans with black boots. He wore a gray gauntlet on his left hand, leaving the right one bare.
"Grandpa Shi..!" Mona said.
Shi punched the Risen's stomach and the Risen groan then he kicked them away unleashing a massive energy beam at the Risen, killing it. A flame pillar appeared behind Shi.
"It's about time we were allowed to Resurrect! I've been looking to kill these bastards for a long fucking time." The man said.
"Keep your cool, Agni. We can't have you putting Little Mona in danger." Shi said.
"Ha...whatever, Relic. You can handle the protection while I smash these fuckers' faces in! If she gets in the way, I'll kill her like the rest." Agni bellowed and his flames surged around his body.
Agni had short messy white hair with red tips. He always donned a mask that was red and black that resembled a demon. He wore a gauntlet on his right hand while his left had was without it. He wore a black shirt with black pants. He had belts in various places like his arm, pants, and back. Although Agni was still human, he had a Demon Awakening known as the Hell Spawn.
"Where are Ataraxia, Misao, and Pryniau?" Agni asked.
"Ataraxia is a few knocks away from us...the other two are unknown, but they are alive." Shi said. "Now let's deal with these Risen and possibly find Qiao Zhi to kill him once and for all."
"Now we're talking..!" Agni laughed. His mask transformed into flames with yellow eyes. His arms and torso turned red red, emitting powerful Hell Fire from his arms. His pants remained intact but his shirt was burned off, exposing a curse mark on his chest. "After we deal with Qiao Zhi, I'll pay that bitch Siroz a special visit for cursing me with the Sin of Wrath!"
Shi and Agni rushed into battle and began to take out the Risen. Ataraxia watched Agni in shock and grunted as he rushed past her to kill another Risen. He laughed as he enjoyed killing the Risen, even tormenting some before killing them. She noticed he hasn't changed a bit. He was still the same ruthless blood thirsty fighter he's always been even as a young child. Agni doesn't care about the good, the evil, or about his Guardianship despite being the Guardian of the Youthful Flames. He'll kill anyone who gets in his way of his battle.
After they took down the Risen, they stopped and Agni turned normal. It was apparent he had some form of self control due to the punishments Ataraxia gave him when he was younger for harming the innocent.
"All of us are here.." Ataraxia said. "The Infinity Council...we are all here."
Raiden looked at her allies then looked at the Key of Sobek. "Now that we are all here...we have a better chance of getting all the keys quickly. Let's get the Key of Sphinx now."
Mona looked at the destroyed Vinci and stood up. Ataraxia looked at her then walked to Mona then rubbed her hair. Mona picked up her paintbrush then drew on Vinci then noticed it wasn't working. Vinci was dead. She teared up and lowered her paint brush.
"I'm sorry Mona..." Ataraxia said.
"Vinci.." She said sadly.
"This would be a perfect time to create a new Mecha...a stronger Mecha...and bring over Vinci's memory into the new one.." Ataraxia said then looked at Mona.
Mona looked at her paintbrush. She thought of her mother and father then looked up and began to swing her paintbrush around, drawing in the air. She finished the drawing then looked at the white Mecha.
"I want you to be the most powerful Mecha. Attack, Defend, Support. All three at the same time. You aren't Vinci...but I will call you Veneras. Protect me and my friends like Vinci did. Now...awaken!" Mona said as she slashed her paintbrush down finishing the Mecha then the Mecha came to life and spread its mechanical wings letting out a mechanical battle cry.
Veneras summoned a sword with a golden blade, a white and gold shield and the orb in its chest shield green. Veneras landed on the ground and kneeled in front of Mona. "Master.."
"It can talk..?" Ataraxia said.
"She..it was a female voice." Raiden said.
"Veneras...let's save the world together." Mona said then smiled at her.
"We shall." Veneras nodded.
I noticed I had fallen asleep and woke up. My body felt different and I looked at my hands, noticing they were back to normal. I looked surprised and stood up then looked at my wings made from my dragon energy. They sparkling and emitted rainbow sparkles. Artemis and Borsu woke up then looked at me.
"Whoa.." Borsu said.
I was in my Controlled Ryu Ruler Form. "I'm not in my Berserker Mode..."
"Sheesh what time is it? How long have we been here in this spot?" Artemis asked.
"Looking at the sky...all day." Borsu said then stood up.
Artemis stretched and sensed the other Infinity Council members. "We're all here. I sense the others." Artemis said.
"Yes...and now that we are all here...we can stop Fallan once and for all." Borsu said.
I nodded then looked at Borsu and Artemis. "Let's go get the keys so we can destroy the Overlord's Core."
"Right." They both said.
