If you were told to choose between the child you watched grow up under your tutelage and your biological child whom you just met, who would you choose?

Madam Lu was in a dilemma when she had to choose between both girls. She gave her love and affection to someone else's child whom everyone envied for sixteen years, while her own child grew up to be disdained.

"Since your daughter doesn't want to leave with you, I can take care of her like I've always done," Madam Lu said.

Mrs. Xu's heart leaped with joy. 'I have to make this look real' she thought. "Why should I allow you to take my daughter away from me? I have already given your daughter to you, please return mine to me," she demanded. "Yan'er, come home with mommy, We will work hard to provide for you. You won't lack much I promise," she tried to hold her daughter's hands only to be flung away.

"Go away, I'm not your daughter!" Lu Yan cried out. She turned to Madam Lu, "Mummy, you already said no matter what happens I will still be your treasured daughter," she wiped her tears and continued, "I don't want to be a Xu, I want to remain a Lu." She was really getting anxious right now. What if her mom abandons her? No, she cannot let that happen.

"That's enough! I need to leave with my daughter, we don't have the whole day. My husband still needs to take his medicine!" Mrs. Xu yelled angrily. Although everything was going according to plan, she was still not happy.

Seeing her daughter disdain her but act affectionately with someone else pricked her heart. She turned to look at Wei Yang who was standing against the door with her arms folded on her chest, looking on like this had nothing to do with her.

The more she compared her Lu Yan to Wei Yang, the more unwilling to leave her daughter to the LUs she became, but it still has to be done.

Wei Yang does things indifferently, her grades in school... fitful, she did lots of shameful things while she was still a child and to crown it all, the idiot became an introvert. In fact, everything about her is so hateful that the moment she knew Wei Yang was not her biological daughter, she felt so happy that she couldn't wait to kick her out of her house.

But, what if Wei Yang ruins her plans or the way she had treated her over the years is revealed? Would the Lu family still help them?

Wei Yang looked at her phone screen, she didn't have much time left. She has other places to be. Her Master must be waiting for her now. She took her backpack which she dropped in surprise from the hug she got from Madam Lu a while back and slung it on her shoulder.

"I have somewhere to be," she said and was about to leave when she heard Mrs. Xu say smugly.

"Your luggage has been sent to the Lu mansion, don't bother coming back to my house, you are no longer welcome."

"Mrs. Xu, don't you think you are going too far? Your daughter is still living in my house! Do you hate my Wei Yang so much that you don't want to set your eyes on her?" Mrs. Lu fumed.

"It's you who doesn't want to return my daughter!!" Mrs. Xu snapped. Realizing she has gone out of line, she quickly added. "Everyone knows how much I love Wei Yang, but since she has become your daughter, I can't find it in me to call her my daughter anymore. Besides, I have to show her I dislike her so she would agree to live with you," she said the latter part in a whisper for Madam Lu alone to hear, not knowing her voice was loud enough for everyone in the ward to hear.

Mr. Xu rolled his eyes discreetly and Lu Kang Song smirked at her words.

"Mummy, I'm not leaving you, I don't want to go with them," Lu Yan cried.

"Wei Yang, your things have been sent to the Lu mansion, I have already asked the butler to clean up a room for you, although the room is smaller than Lu Yan's, you should make do with it for the time being, until we resolve this matter, alright?" Mrs Lu persuaded calmly, looking expectantly at her.

Wei Yang wanted to refuse, but seeing the expectant look on her face, she couldn't bring herself to reject her, so she agreed. "OK," and walked away.
