She had hoped for one final night of rest before the trial the next day, but Sierra realized quickly she was too naive. Sometime after midnight, she earned herself another guest. She was almost entering deep sleep when the creak of the cell door jolted her awake.
Before she could even open her eyes, Sierra was doused with a pail of ice-cold water. She sat up immediately, quickly realizing who did that to her.
"Well well well, look who do we have here?" It was Princess Agnes, along with two of her servants.
They dumped the pail to the side, and the sound of it hitting the ground echoed throughout the cell.
"You came all this way and you didn't know who you came to see?" Sierra replied snappily.
Having her sleep ruined annoyed her and she knew exactly why Agnes was here. Since they were no longer cordial, she didn't have to be either.
