Annalise watched as Valerius wrote down the message in thin air with a golden brush and golden words appeared in neat and clean handwriting in proper lines. He then chanted a spell before the words disappeared and so did the brush that he was holding.
"Wanna learn the spell?" Kenric questioned when he noticed the intriguing look in her eyes. The man had been sticking by her side ever since they met in Damien's bed-chamber.
Annalise let out a sigh before she shook her head. "What and whom am I even gonna write to?"
"You can write to me. I'll be in my basement and you will be in your room and we can exchange messages." The excitement level that Kenric showed as he gave her the suggestion, almost gave Annalise goosebumps.
