Annalise didn't even know what she was doing as she hurriedly crouched down beside the creature that seemed like a snow lion but with wings.
Her hands moved to touch it but Damien was there to stop her before she could have made the mistake. "Annalise!" He seemed almost pained as he called her in a warning tone. "You just suffered an attack from the dark energy and this creature was also infected with it. You shouldn't be coming anywhere near it."
She could feel his worry for her through their bond but she couldn't avoid the dying creature either. "Didn't the black energy already leave its body?" She asked and looked around at her husbands for an answer.
Valerius crouched down on her other side as he nodded his head in response to her question before speaking, "It did but that doesn't mean this creature is safe already. Besides, it's dying, Annalise, let's give it some peace in its last moments."
