"Where do you think you are going, Princess?" Damien asked instead of answering her question. His warm breath fanned Annalise's face as he inched his face closer to hers, caging her against the wall in all possible manners and making sure that she didn't have a way to run away.
"I just... wanted some alone time to relax," Annalise whispered in response the first thing her mind was able to think of, at the moment. Not only her body and soul but even her mind was only focused on her mate and the things his closeness was doing to her.
She felt shivers running down her body when one of Damien's hands found its way around her waist and came to rest on the small of her back. And despite the layers of fabric, her skin felt the warmth of his palm as he was touching her bare skin.
