"Two hundred? How old are you guys exactly?" Annalise asked as she took another pouch from the bag and restarted collecting herbs.
"Almost around... five hundred years," Kenric answered while thinking back to the years he and his brothers had spent in the Midnight Realm and outside of it.
"WHAT?"
The force with which Annalise turned her head around to look at the man, she almost got whiplash in return. If not for Kenric who was immediately there to catch her, she would probably have ended up on the ground.
"Is it that shocking?" Kenric asked as he pulled her into his arms and wrapped both his hands around her.
"Of course, it is. Ever since the Light Fae disappeared, their lineage has only been able to live a maximum of three hundred years or so. But you are saying that the three of you are already five hundred years old and you all still look so young. How's that possible?" She questioned.
