Princess Eleanor was silent as tears started running down her eyes.
"What is making you cry?" Sir Kit's voice brought Princess Eleanor back to reality. She looked over to the bookshelves. Princess Eleanor did not know when Sir Kit had entered, but she did not care. Her thoughts were messy as she bit her lips in annoyance.
Princess Eleanor looked at Sir Kit as the tears continued to flow down subconsciously.
"Don't cry." Sir Kit walked over and he gently enveloped Princess Eleanor into his arms. "What happened, dearest?" His tone was tender as he asked and the endearment warmed Princess Eleanor's heart.
Princess Eleanor bit her lips as she tried to control her emotions but there was no use. Soon a wave of warmth spread over her cheeks and that made Princess Eleanor realize that it was Sir Kit who was rubbing away her tears.
"He did it all." Princess Eleanor said with a sob, "I thought he was my friend… but he had killed them all!!"
