Lou and Kim both passed out in their room as the exhaustion of going all night caught up to them. This left Kadi, Reia and Akira to do whatever they wanted as it had become an unspoken rule to not go out of the bunker for any kind of mission unless everyone was okay.
Reia told Kadi that she would be going out with Akira and would like her to look after the bunker while Lou and Kim were asleep. Kadi had no issues with it as she preferred to be with Lou and Kim anyway.
Reia and Akira got themselves ready, getting into their tactical clothes, but they did not fully gear themselves. They decided to just bring their guns for safety and left their swords behind as they didn't plan to hunt any mutants.
"So what romantic spot are you taking me to?" Reia took Lou's advice and let herself go with the flow, doing what her heart wanted to do. So she leaned in and wrapped her arms around Akira's while looking up at him.
