Zhang Mei Ling could hear the voice of the bell ringing. Her eyes searched for her brother Zhang Yi Chen who was not present there. She looked at her father and shook her head as tears rolled down her cheeks.
''No... no...'' She shook her head, she was terrified. She wanted to speak, but her tongue felt numb. Her throat had dried, she could feel talking something but the sound was not coming out. Everyone sitting inside wanted to strangle her to death.
Suddenly, Zhang Feng Xi stepped forward and slapped Zhang Mei Ling on the right cheek with full force.
''Indecent... Indecent...'' He kept slapping her as he cursed her. His lips were moving but Zhang Mei Ling could only hear the words said by Onyx, the day he saved her and Yi Chen.
''Indecent!''
She heard the bell ringing again.
