Standing there all he could hear was the repetition of her sentence in his head which refused to stop playing.
At that moment the world around him ceased to exist. The only thing he could see and hear was her love confession which was on repetition.

She squats and covers her face.
Amos slowly lowered himself into a squatting position after his brain had finally assimilated her words.
