"Let me go, let me leave Dragon Keep." Neveah breathed slowly, her tone thick with exhaustion and despair.
Neveah had thought it over again and again.
ย Leaving the Dragon Keep was the only way she could truly find herself, yet leaving only to be hunted down and chased after for the rest of her life was not true freedom.
If the dragons could just let her go, Neveah could pick up the pieces of her life and at least try if perhaps she could build a life of peace which she had been denied of.
