"Father is in his youth, he will govern for many more years. Why must I bother? All he sees me as is a poor imitation of himself." Alessio murmured in a dark tone as his eyes fluttered closed.
"Alessio, how can you say that?! Your father gave you the governing rights to a third of the Eclipse Domain. And the Creator's mark you bear proves your claim true."
"Your father will honor you as his heir so long as you do not disappoint his expectations. So long as you can earn his respect and prove your worth to him." Alpha Queen Vilma reasoned.
Alessio chuckled quietly beneath his breath, his mother seemed to be the only one still living in denial of the kind of man her mate truly was.
