He watched her drift off to sleep, his heart warm and overflowing with elation.

Kaideon got up to his feet and adjusted the covers over Neveah before he headed out of the room.
Menarx still stood outside, leaned against the wall, his gaze settled on Kaideon as Kaideon stepped out of the room and shut the door behind him.
