"Veah, to have heard it from someone else...it just felt, hurtful." Menarx admitted.
"I feel like the more I get to know you, the more I realize that I truly know nothing about you. Not even the basic facts that should have been a certainty to know." Menarx continued in a quiet tone.
Neveah winced slightly, a heavy feeling settled over her heart and Neveah could tell this feeling was not hers, it was a sliver of Menarx's feeling slipping through their bond.
It seemed Menarx had not even realized it yet, that Neveah had already begun to feel what he felt but Neveah knew he would soon.
For the time being, the bond was still in formation and so their minds were completely opened to one another, it was just that Neveah's emotions were always controlled and guarded, more so than Menarx's.
Hence while the bond had already bored into Menarx, giving up his true emotions, it was yet to do the same with Neveah.
