"Where are you going, Tyler? You can't just leave right now; we are going to have dinner with Arabella; how could you bail on us? Your daughter would be devastated once she found out you left." Bianca said with worries over her face as she saw me walking towards the main door.
"I needed to go somewhere, Bianca; I got busy in the office that I needed to clear my head," I responded, and I could see the looked she gave me; my sister didn't buy my alibi.
She stood at the door while she crossed her arms over her chest, and I could tell she didn't want me to go.
"Please, Bianca, I couldn't face Ara; if I eat with you, I am sure she will back out, so you better move aside and don't get on my way since I needed to have a drink." I declared, and her face fell.
