The plane made a touchdown and the seatbelt light finally came off. Her father had already packed up his stuff, or much rather the air hostess had done that for him.
As he stepped downstairs, her father turned slightly towards Lucy and asked, "would you like to stay the night at my house? It's quite late and I do not think you should trouble your grandparents."
Lucy first turned towards Leah who did not give her a concrete decision. Since she was okay with whatever, the decision made you go towards Lucy.
"If it's not too much, then I suppose I can stay." She agreed to the offer made by MR. Adams. It was already talk in the evening and she would definitely face a few questions from her grandparents. They were quite inquisitive as Lucy had told Leah.
