"Well that was quick," Ava smiled at Dr. Mike Waterston who had just walked inside the interrogation room. "I was hoping I could sleep inside the tombs."
Dr. Waterston shook his head. Then he sat opposite to Ava. "The Deputy is going to speak to you."
"Of Operations?"
"Yes."
"And the others?"
"I'm not sure yet." Dr. Waterston uttered. "The video that you released… we deleted it."
"But the damage has been done, right?" Ava smiled. "The world is evolving. We really need to catch up to technology."
"You could get the death penalty for doing that."
"That won't happen."
"Why is that?"
Ava shrugged in response.
"What makes you think that a video could stop them from killing you?"
Ava leaned forwards and gave the man a warm smile. "It's not."
"Then? Why did you have to be so… careless?"
Ava pursed her lips in response. "The Deputy… isn't going to be here to help me out, Mike."
