Another explosion followed. This time, the chanting stopped.
Then there was screaming.
When the darkness that surrounded Matthew disappeared, the witches were already on the floor, the house was no longer there as well as the large titan that the Priestess summoned.
"Ava?" Matthew called out when she notice her standing not far away from him. He rushed to her side only to realize that she was staring into the Priestess's lifeless body, a twisted smile on her face. Blood had started to pool around Priestess Anna's corpse along with the blood from the other witches.
And Ava… was just standing there smiling as the smell of blood filled the air. An ominous feeling wrapped around Matthew's heart.
"Ava?" Matthew held her shoulder. This time, Ava responded. She flinched and looked at him.
