"What was that?" Francheska's voice came echoed inside the room before Matthew could open the door. By now, the two children inside the room were awake, shaken by the incident.
Matthew immediately held Ava.
"Are you alright?"
"I am," she answered. Her eyes were focused on the two children.
"What was that?"Alpha Ramrin said as he arrived along with his Beta along with Jude arrived. Matthew and Francheska arrived first as they were actually faster than Jude and the werewolves. However, they also heard the scream and felt that sinister presence as they neared the room where the two children were sleeping.
"What the hell— " Jude cursed, he looked at Ava. "That was different…"
"Have you felt something like that before?" Francheska turned towards Jude.
"No. Have you?"Jude asked Ava. Jude didn't really spend a lot of time in the field.
"No," Ava answered.
