"Alpha John, this is the files of the four people resting inside the guest room of the guest house." Alpha John's assistant said as she handed him four folders. "I believe you need to see this," she opened the first one revealing a piece of paper with Matthew's face on it.
"A Lycan?" Alpha John's eyebrow lifted, and his lips turned up into a chilly smile. "Must be because of that meeting…" he muttered. "You may leave. Make sure to provide them with the best care."
"I told you to join that event— " a scratchy voice suddenly echoed behind him.
"And risk revealing you?"
"They cannot do anything to me!" the voice continued as the opened window nearby slammed shut. The wind whistled inside the Alpha's office. A rancid smell filled the room.
