"We cannot let the King do this!" one of the nobles shouted as the knight closed in on them. "We want to speak to the current King!"
"This requires the attention of the King!'

"Move or we will be forced to use force!"
"We apologize but the King is currently— " one of the knights attempted to talk but was stopped when a Lycan woman slapped him in the face.
"How dare you!" the woman hissed. "Do you think there is nothing more important than my child's life?"

"What is going on here?" Drigo's voice was a relief to some and a burden to most. Many of the Lycans who came here today were not the main members of the noble families. Some of them have been kicked out by their families in the past while some have left the Lycan community and have chosen to travel around the world.
Still, these people gathered here today for only one reason.
