Ava knew she was not from those families though. Her father was human. And she was certain he was her father as… they had the same features. Eyes and hair color even their pale skin carried such resemblance. Sadly, that was the only thing she could remember about her father.

The fact that he didn't even mention her name or bring Ava to her grave was enough to tell Ava that her mother didn't die.
She abandoned her.
Was that because she was part of this Royal Family?

Either way, leaving your own child alone with your human partner to survive, knowing that she would inherit your magick is fucked up.
