With a sneer of triumph, Sandra Li sauntered to her bedroom normally like no sin she just committed.
The only thing that pulled her feet to a stop was her son's face abruptly popping up in her mind; Danish would soon realize that his wife disappeared because they shared the same room. To anticipate that, Sandra with another wicked thought, had to prepare the scenario to distract Danish from Luna.
In a hurry, Sandra proceeded upstairs, not to her own compartment but her son's; with only one knock, the door slid open and the figure of Danish came into the picture.
"Danish, can you help me?" One of his eyebrows arched in surprise to discover his mother in panic; her acting deserved an award.
"What's wrong, Mom?"
"I left my purse in the restaurant where I had dinner with my friend."
"How could it be?" As a punctilious person, her mother always checked her belongings out before leaving any place let alone a public area.
