Duke Fez's legs went limp, and the young man helplessly fell to the ground on his knees.
His whole face had already lost color, and the end of his eyes slowly reddened.
"It's impossible." Duke Fez murmured in a hoarse voice.
His chest heaved up and down heavily, yet he didn't seem to notice the sudden stuffy feeling in his chest.
"This is a joke, right?" Duke Fez's voice sounded once more, but people could hear the hint of a plea in his voice.
He's begging to hear that all of this is just a dream or a joke.
"How could this be? How could Bell suddenly get poisoned?" Duke Fez's eyes lost focus as he laughed dryly.
He lifted his head limply, and a few strands of disobedient hair fell onto his forehead, instantly making the whole person look haggard.
The surrounding doctors and even butler old Byron held their breath. Each of them also had red eyes, and some even shed silent tears.
