"What are you doing here?" The old woman asked Jacob, grabbing him by the arms, before he could ask her the same question.
"I came here for a mission." He replied, trying to shake his arm away from the old woman but to no avail. How could an old woman be as strong as this? He thought, shifting his weight to his left leg, his eyes still finding the time to roam and stay on the beautiful vampire singing.
"She is the one you were sent to kill this time around?" She asked.
"Yes, but…" He was saying, when the old woman interrupted him harshly.
"No, you can't kill her! I won't let you do so. She is a very good person, even though she is a vampire. Her voice has healing and soothing qualities which have more good, and no harm to the souls of humans and other beings alike. There is no evil in her." The woman stated, and Jacob sighed.
