FRIDAY
Devyn headed out alone for lunch. The documents piled in the office were already enough to give her a headache. She wasn't supposed to go to work today, but she knew inside that if her assistant was here, he would scold her.
Thinking about Kiel, her expression changed. If only she had the power to know where is her, she will bang there hurriedly. All she could do was to wait for her brother to confirm something. Besides, Devyn couldn't risk something because her body wasn't hers anymore.
She put on her seatbelt and breathed, putting her palm on her stomach. She felt this warmth and her lips curved up into a smile. Thinking that there's someone living inside of her womb was a different feeling now.
Her mood these days is also starting to change every minute and she craves for something like foods she hasn't eaten before. Of course, Doctor Casler was still in her back supporting her with medicines to make sure that the baby inside was healthy.
