"Does he know about your situation?"
Her fingers clasped together while she turned her eyes outside the car window. Silence filled the atmosphere. Both of them can sense what the other was thinking at this moment.
"I guess I'm not in the position to tell you that, after all."
Felix cast his eyes in front and started the engine. He didn't want to pressure Devyn at all, but seeing her looking like that since earlier, he already knows that something is going on inside her head. All he ever wanted was for her to open even a bit about it to him.
Devyn was always the straightforward lady no matter what kind of situation it was. She's only like this when Kiel is involved. No matter where Felix looked, she really cared about Kiel. Not only as her assistant.
"It's not like that." The lady finally replied. Still eyebrows knitting between her nose.
