They headed to the bedroom and Kiel tucked his omega on the bed. After settling her, he gave her a forehead kiss. He remained sitting on the side of the bed.
"Call me if you need anything, okay? I'm just in the living room," Kiel said.
Devyn grabbed his hand. "How about you? Don't you want to rest?" she asked. She couldn't deny that after she gave birth, it was her alpha who took care of her.
Even during those nights that Kielyn was crying, he was always the alert one. He settled everything while Devyn was resting in a hospital room and talked to her parents. Kiel drove them back too.
"It's fine. I will just fix some things in the living room." The alpha replied.
"Are you sure?"
He nodded. "Yes, don't worry, I will rest later. For now, you need to gather your energy back. I will leave the door open too." Kiel said, finally stepping apart from the bed.
