"Where have you been?"
A woman with short blonde hair dashed as soon as she saw the familiar silhouette of her little boy. She crouched down to level his height and then brushed his forehead. "You made me worried," she mumbled.
Feeling the guilt, the little boy just nodded his head. "Sorry, mom." he uttered.
The woman hugged him before standing up. She faced the other lady with a little girl who was the same age as his son. "I'm sorry for the trouble," she said.
"I got so busy talking to the school principal that I didn't notice him running away somewhere." she added, brushing her face in dismay.
Devyn didn't want to make this conversation long.It wasn't a big deal for her to help others. Because she also has a daughter and she knew that she would feel the same if Kielyn was in the same situation.
Hearing this, she nodded her head. "It's fine. I will feel the same too."
