The next day came and Kiel found himself on the bed. However, he smelled this strong alcohol scent lingering on his nose. When he tried to move, he felt something connected to his arm. It was an IV fluid.
He squinted and roamed his eyes on the white ceiling. The AC wasn't that cold, only enough to make him feel not hot. The blanket on top of him was soft too. However, he had no time appreciating these things right now. He's still feeling hot and feverish.
Why is he in the hospital? The events that happened yesterday bang his thoughts. Devyn was with him, right? He suddenly irked when he realized what he did. Guilt crawled all over him. He wished that he didn't force the lady to do something that would hurt her.
Though before he could force himself, another figure entered the room with their footsteps resonating on the shiny floor.
"Don't get up yet," She checked the IV fluid and wrote something on her folder. "You need to rest, Kiel."
