A female staff member welcomed Devyn as soon as she stepped inside the hotel lobby. She told her that they already have a reservation and her other acquaintances were waiting for her.
She also received a text message from her mom saying to hurry because her father was getting impatient. As expected, her father already settled everything.
The female staff opened the door and bowed her head before walking away. The atmosphere immediately changed as Devyn moved towards her seat.
"Good evening, father." She greeted after giving respect. She usually calls him dad, but since this seemed to be a business topic, formalities will come first.
The man in his 40s having a black hair with gray streaks along his ears put down the glass wine down to the linen clothing of the table. His black suit stretched a little when he lifted his wide shoulders.
