Bella felt like her world just crumbled down after hearing the name Amon uttered. Her eyes welled up at the implication of it, and she immediately felt the need to be alone to process things. Without a word, she rushed out of the water and grabbed her clothes to put them on.
"Lady Bella!"
She heard Amon's voice calling out to her, but she felt too numb at that point to even care. There was something aching inside her chest, and it was as if someone was stabbing her heart without a pause.
"Why?" she murmured to herself as she ran back to the tent, only to stop because she didn't want to make a scene and worry her brother and sister-in-law.
