Chapter 36 – Disappointed
Darius and Talisa enjoy everything until the two of them reach their peak together. Both of them lay limp on the bed and at that moment Darius felt his heart filled with guilt. The image of Zoya's and Jonathan's faces now appeared in Darius' mind, as if haunting him.
"This shouldn't have happened," said Darius.
"W-what?" Talisa asked. She was still out of breath and her face was still red. She could barely understand what Darius was saying.
"We shouldn't have done this," Darius said again.
This time, Talisa just understood what Darius' wanted to say and at that moment Talisa's heart felt like it was being stabbed. They had just made love but Darius already regretted it. Darius's always cold expressionless face was now filled with regret. That made Talisa even more hurt.
"You regret it? Am I that disgusting in your eyes, Darius?" Talisa asked.
