Talisa widened her eyes when she saw Darius who just stood quietly while folding his arms in front of his chest. With the look in her eyes, Talisa wanted Darius to explain what he just said. What are future watchers? Talisa had never heard of such a term before. After all, Talisa had never had a strange dream that felt as real as the one she had just experienced.
"You predict what will happen in the future. It seems like that is exactly what just happened," said Darius. He only guessed from Talisa's movements.
"It is just a dream. A nightmare, to be precise," said Talisa.
"No… It wasn't a dream," Darius said with absolute certainty.
"Don't fool around, Darius," Talisa replied again.
Now Darius shifted a chair and sat in front of Talisa, who was still trying to catch her breath. She was still panting from the nightmare that felt so real.
"In Traum, there are not only elemental masters living there, but also other special abilities such as future watchers, mind-controllers, healers, and who knows what else, the people who have those powers are increasing all the time," said Darius, trying to explain.
"You are trying to say that I am a future watcher. I can't even believe that I'm the master of the earth element, now you're saying I have yet another magical power?" Talisa asked.
Darius shrugged.
"If that's the truth, what can I do? It's not me who determines what abilities you have," Darius replied.
Talisa sighed. She knew she had done something stupid, like protesting against the wind that blows. However, all of this came too suddenly and Talisa had a hard time accepting it. This is all unacceptable to common sense. Talisa even doubted her sanity now.
"I don't see the future. I just saw a little girl and she asked for help," answered Talisa.
Darius widened his eyes now; the first expression Talisa saw on that cold face.
"Then what else did you see?" asked Darius.
"You still think it's about the future?" Talisa asked again, ignoring Darius' question.
"Answer me, Talisa. This could be very important," he said.
His tone was urgent and pushy. Talisa also had no other choice but to tell Darius, because she was at a loss as to what to do. The dream felt very real and Talisa had never experienced anything like it before. If there is a child who needs her help and Talisa ignores it, she will not be able to forgive herself.
"So… I saw a little girl. She was wearing a pink knee-length dress. Her hair was blonde. She was about four or five years old. I don't know… But she still looks so small. She asked for help and she knew my name," said Talisa.
"Where did you see her? I mean, did you see a place?" asked Darius.
"It was in an open place, either a park or something like that. What is clear is that I saw green grass, at night, there were trees but grew scarcely. There are so many open places and I could see the sky clearly," answered Talisa.
"Details, did she mention a name? Or is there something in the clothes she's wearing? There should be more clues," Darius said, forcing Talisa to think again.
"I don't know, Darius!" Talisa exclaimed frustrated.
Talisa couldn't possibly pay attention to such details because she was so scared. Darius took a deep breath while looking at Talisa.
"You should try again," Darius replied.
"What? Do I have to go through something like that again? No thanks, Darius," Talisa replied.
"You will regret it," Darius said with absolute certainty.
"What do you mean?"
"George steals the power of other elemental masters by eating their hearts, but it's unstable. To stabilize his power, he needed something else. If my guess is correct, he's looking for people with special abilities outside of Traum. He will take their power to stabilize all his power," replied Darius.
"Outside of Traum? Didn't you say your ridiculous powers were only in Traum?" Talisa asked.
"Watch your words, Talisa. You are part of Traum too," Darius said with a straight face.
"So?"
"As I said, these powers are like a gift from nature. In recent years I've started to find people outside of Traum who happen to have special abilities. Most of them are telekinetic people," Darius replied.
"What does that have to do with my dream?" Talisa asked.
"If my guess is right, that girl might be one of them. George would take her to Traum and kill her. You are the one who will save that girl, Talisa. Like it or not, you have to do it. She will haunt you, trust me," said Darius.
"Damn it, Darius! You make me shivers!" Talisa exclaimed.
"Anyway, all we have to do now is to rediscover Traum, go inside and kill George before he has mastered all the elemental powers and stabilized his power. Saving the girl is an attempt to prevent George from stabilizing his powers," said Darius again.
"What will happen if George succeeds?" Talisa asked in a low voice. Her eyes are now filled with fear. Like it or not, Talisa must take all this seriously, this is not a hallucination nor a joke. After everything that happened, Talisa had to believe.
"He will make Traum a kingdom that rules over the world. He will be the king. And all humans without power will become his slaves. Imagine the chaos, Talisa. You want all of that to happen?" asked Darius.
Talisa swallowed. She couldn't imagine if that all happened.
"You are the key to canceling all of George's plans, Talisa. Or you will be the key to George's success. It's all your decision, your choice," said Darius.
Talisa looked at Darius' beautiful hazel eyes while gulping. Talisa didn't know what to believe now other than Darius' words. Talisa has to put aside the fact that Darius is also a man with many secrets. Darius is hiding a lot of things, and Talisa knows it.
"What should we do now, Darius?" Talisa asked finally. She couldn't let George's evil plan work.
"You have to predict the future once again. Focus your strength and you will find more clues," said Darius.
"I-I don't know how to do it. And now… I can't possibly sleep again, can I?" Talisa asked.
"No need to do it while sleeping," Darius replied.
"Can I do it now?" Talisa asked.
"Follow me," Darius said.
Darius got up and was about to leave the room.
"Where to?" Talisa asked.
"Where you can find the source of your energy," Darius replied.
"Wait! At least I have to change clothes first, "said Talisa.
Darius turned and looked at Talisa's body which was only wrapped in a thin nightgown with low cleavage. Talisa reflexively covered her breasts with her hands.
"I told you I wasn't interested," Darius said.
Darius then pointed towards the cupboard.
"There's a lot of clothes there. Just choose anything you like. I'll be waiting outside," Darius said.
After saying that, Darius went out of the room. Talisa wondered. Darius only lives alone with the servants here. Why does he have so many women's clothes? Does this belong to someone?
