Talisa eats her breakfast quickly. She had gotten used to it while living in Darius's mansion. He was like a general in a military camp training his soldier. The meal only took ten minutes and after that, they went straight to the park to practice.
"This morning the air is clear. You should be able to master this technique quickly," said Darius.
"Hopefully," said Talisa skeptically.
Darius snorted softly.
"I can guess what's on your mind," Darius said.
Talisa widened her eyes to look at Darius. Now she was truly horrified that Darius had the power to read minds.
"I know you don't like being bait, do you? You don't believe that this will work," said Darius.
