Chapter 99 – Shelter
Darius rises to his feet when Gracia's last ashes have disappeared and are out of sight. He approached Talisa and helped her up.
"I'm sorry, Talisa," said Darius.
"I'm fine," Talisa said. Miraculously, Talisa was able to stand up. Some of her bones had been reattached when Talisa lay on the ground.
"I still can walk, but Michael..."
Talisa was a little worried seeing Michael who was still unconscious since earlier.
"We can't take him in this condition," said Darius.
"Then, what should we do?" Talisa asked.
Darius then looked around and his eyes then locked on a part of the forest that was a little more open. Michael took them deep into the forest because he didn't want anyone to see them fighting. Luckily, there weren't any humans around here, but since the trees were quite dense, there wasn't enough wind to get in. Michael had to be close to the source of his power.
"Come on follow me!" cried Darius.
