A few hours went by, and we spent them in comfort as we snuggled together on one of the beds, deciding to get some rest while we could in anticipation of spending some time with the two little ones when they awoke.
Lady D'Arcon checked in with Mother twice during that time, and she peeked her head in to tell us that everything looked perfect, and that Mother was doing better than she imagined for having just given birth to twins, though she certainly needed the rest.
We nodded at that before returning to the cozy warmth of our pile, draping ourselves across the bed and laying together, chatting quietly about anything that popped into mind without hesitation, be it about fighting, style, techniques, magic, sex, the future, plans, ideas...
Anything we could think of was fair game, and that was a useful few hours for us as we rested and talked.
