EMMA

My entire body aches and the sharp ringing in my ears is becoming a nuisance. I couldn't move my body, I couldn't feel anything, it was like I was tied down by a rock and the weight of it was coming from my right shoulder, that bite. It's affecting me, affecting my head, my body, I can't think, and worse of all I can't use my powers.
How did it come to this?
I let my mind travel... I remember the night was cold, just as always, it was always cold, and the moonlight shone the brightest, I was having trouble sleeping so I stood by the window just as I always did and watched the skies. Tiger is always next to me… standing next to the window too as I gently trailed my hand up and down his head, petting the creature.
He has always been next to me… my familiar.
