Gina's body froze when she saw Zeryon jump outside. She chased him to the window. She wanted to scream his name, but her voice caught in her throat.
She was just taken aback by Zeryon's transformation. She watched as red horns appeared on his head and a pair of wings grew on his back.
Her breath was tight, as if there was no oxygen circulating in the room. She was almost drowning in shock until someone's touch woke her up.
"You don't need to be worried. He'll be back for sure," Heva said this as she rubbed Gina's shoulder.
Gina tried to calm her racing thoughts by closing her eyes. She inhaled deeply and slowly exhaled.
"Does he always act like that?" Gina wondered.
Heva slowly nodded.
"Yeah, once a month. Every night of full moon. I even forgot to remind him. He should have gone hunting right away. However, he went to the academy today to look for you. Perhaps he forgot as well because he was so busy," she explained.
