Édouard looked at his father, who asked him if he came up with any solution to appease the peasants.
"I already told His Majesty to reduce their tax burden. I have analyzed that the aristocrats aren't being charged the tax that should be. If Father wants to make a good impression as a King, then he must increase the taxes of well-off families," Édouard explained to Christian.
He stayed quiet for a while upon hearing Édouard's words.
"I can start the process if Father finds me capable of it. I will handle the matter in my way and will give Father positive results," Édouard confidently pronounced.
"I don't want the aristocrats to rebel. Their rebellion will impact the kingdom more," Christian said while tapping his finger on the throne's armrest.
"I will take care of that, Your Majesty," Édouard stated.
Christian trusted his son's words and told him to begin the work on this. Édouard bowed and was ready to leave when Christian stopped him.
