The next morning, Charlotte met Anneliese after breakfast upon getting the message. Édouard had gone to attend the council meeting along with the two other princes.
Seeing the Queen, Charlotte showed curtsied to her. Anneliese passed a smiled to her and asked her to take a seat.
Charlotte walked up slowly and sat on the sofa, placing her hands on her lap. "I hope I didn't make Royal Mother wait for too long," Charlotte said.
"Not at all," Anneliese said. "Did Princess Charlotte take her medicines?" She asked.
"I did, Royal Mother," Charlotte replied and kept a tiny smile on her lips. However, despite that smile, the worries were visible on her face.
"Princess Charlotte must be anxious after hearing the message from the Gavaria King," Anneliese stated.
Charlotte hummed and the smile slowly faded from her lips.
