Suzanne tapped her foot as she kept her hands locked behind her back. Damien had asked her to be in the drawing room and went somewhere. It was already more than fifteen hours. One thing she hated about people who made her wait for too long.
But Damien was the prince, so she could not either say anything to him.
"Why doesn't Miss Barnard sit on the sofa?" Tove asked as she placed the tray on the table and asked her to drink water.
Suzanne gazed at her and nodded at her. As she sit down to drink the water, Damien came there. She put the glass on the table and stood up. "Prince Damien took a lot of time to return," Suzanne stated.
"Forgive me for keeping you waiting," Damien said and gazed at Tove. "You can leave," he coldly said.
Tove felt the coldness in his voice and left the room.
"Have a seat, Miss Suzanne," Damien said and sat across from her on the sofa. He took out the journal from inside the waistcoat's pocket and looked at it.
